The Legacy Recluse is a very overstable mid, comparable to the Pursuit. The Recluse has a large bead and a slim profile. It will fight any wind and always hook up at the end of the shot.

The recluse was the first very overstable midrange that I bagged and it definitely does not disappoint. I have been playing for under a year so I am newer to the game. This disc can be good for beginners that have their form down. If you are having trouble keeping your shots going straight to the basket then throwing a Recluse flat could help you as it did me. I use to struggle A LOT throwing my Buzzz straight because I tend to release most of my shots outward due to throwing mostly overstable discs when I started playing. Throwing a Recluse stable and outward leaves room for it to fade back to the basket and right where you want it to be. You just need to make sure you are not throwing this disc with too much Hyzer or it will fly away from you very quickly due to its 4.0 Fade. Now that I am able to control my Buzzz more it does split time with my Recluse but I still come back to my recluse more often. Unfortunately, I don't throw it hardly as much since I picked up Discrafts Zone Putter. They have the same flight rating system and more often than not I'm throwing a zone on my upshot. I exclusively throw the Recluse backhand and the Zone forehand. So if I ever need to get around a tree from around 100ft with a backhand this is my go-to shot until I can get more distance with a putter. I don't see myself ever taking this out of my bag and would encourage others to give it a try. I like to have a diverse bag of discs from all different companies. Yes Innova and Discraft are more popular and it might be easier to go with a disc that you've heard more about but I believe in trying all types of discs and I'm glad I did with the Recluse.  I was lucky enough to get a Shattered Sparkle Turquoise Recluse and it is one of the nicest looking discs I have. If you are a sucker for getting the coolest discs you can find you can not go wrong with this one.

I love this disc for forehand approaches and can reliably park it from ~150ft. I know that it will do exactly as the flight ratings say and start straight but fade quickly. It is not my favorite disc for backhand approaches as i find it too overstable and prefer something with a lower fade rating.
