The Saint is a fantastic straight-flying driver that provides intermediate players with more distance. The flight path of this disc has a slight “S curve” with a slightly overstable net result. When thrown with power it has fairly significant turn followed by moderate fade. This disc is recommended for flights up to 350 feet. The Saint disc has some serious glide, and is one of only a few discs that has a glide rating of 7. Latitude 64 says the Saint is a “slightly longer River.” It is a taller than average distance driver (1.9cm) with a moderate wing length (1.9cm).

    Retro Burst Details

Retro Burst is a special run of Latitude 64's Retro plastic featuring color bursts throughout the plastic. Retro plastic was designed for players who wanted to be reminded of the old school plastic from disc golf in the 80's. This baseline plastic easily "breaks in" and is very affordable.

Good disc. I prefer other discs though. The one I have is a bit too over stable and beat up. Good disc though. It does go fairly far for me.

I really liked this disc at the outset because it would go dead straight for me -- no tweaking the release angle or needing flips & turnovers and the flight path correcting back on target: just dead straight. Very useful! I was really careful about when I'd use it, though, for fear it would hit anything, get beat in much at all, and lose that trait; and yet for all that, it has in fact already become a bit understable, fading right on my long backhands (except maybe in tailwinds). While this has also been a useful flight pattern to have at my disposal, I am a bit bummed that it lost its pure, straight flight after hardly any use. Might need to try one in a better plastic to get a longer-lasting, straight flyer in the bag. (It might just be a perfect fit for my arm speed; others could get different results from their standard throws.)

Fantastic starter driver. My first driver purchase and love the flight path on this disc. My only complaint about the Retro plastic is that it is seriously soft. So soft that a single throw into the trees will fully beat this disc in. My retro is 3 months old and so thrashed that it is almost unthrowable anymore. Going for opto and will report back!

The base plastic helped it turn up easier when I started out, this is the second disc I bought that wasn't from a starter pack. The seven glide really sold me on it as I thought it would make my throws go farther, I thought so when I used it more often, but I'm not so sure it wasn't me trying to justify having bought it. The rim feels fantastic and the flatter top felt nice to learn how a disc should feel in the hand.
