The Saint is a fantastic straight-flying driver that provides intermediate players with more distance. The flight path of this disc has a slight “S curve” with a slightly overstable net result. When thrown with power it has fairly significant turn followed by moderate fade. This disc is recommended for flights up to 350 feet. The Saint disc has some serious glide, and is one of only a few discs that has a glide rating of 7. Latitude 64 says the Saint is a “slightly longer River.” It is a taller than average distance driver (1.9cm) with a moderate wing length (1.9cm).

If I was basing this review off of looks alone, it would be a sure fire 5 star review! The shimmer of the Opto-X-Glimmer plastic and the design of the angel wings stamp are just awesome! I love the look of this disc.

I knew it would be a bit more stable being that the X plastics tend to be so, but what I didn't get was the ever so touted glide this disc is supposed to have. I was expecting this thing to just glide for days with a rating of 7, but to be honest I'd probably give it more of a glide of 4.5-5 than a 7. I'm not sure if that's normal, or if I just got one that is less glidy.

Now that I have a better understanding of how this disc flies, I am beginning to find out where it belongs in my bag and when to utilize it. It isn't one that I tend to reach for often, but I think I just need a bit more time with it. If nothing else, I might just reach for it anytime I want to impress someone I'm playing with just to hear them "oooh" and "aaahhh" over it. They may just need a bib!
