The Saint is a fantastic straight-flying driver that provides intermediate players with more distance. The flight path of this disc has a slight “S curve” with a slightly overstable net result. When thrown with power it has fairly significant turn followed by moderate fade. This disc is recommended for flights up to 350 feet. The Saint disc has some serious glide, and is one of only a few discs that has a glide rating of 7. Latitude 64 says the Saint is a “slightly longer River.” It is a taller than average distance driver (1.9cm) with a moderate wing length (1.9cm).

I also got this at the Trilogy Challenge event. I usually throw forehand, so I'm writing from that perspective. The first thing I noticed was that this disc goes very straight. A little fade to the right at the end, but not much. I leaned the disc to the right, and it went more to the right. But again not much. I don't think I will be wrapping this disc around any corners. I even was able to make it turn a bit to the left. I had no problem with "floppiness" - however you throw it, is how it will stay. So I feel like if you don't throw it straight, it's your fault. Definitely not going to be as long as the distance drivers, but I will be adding this to my bag for when I need long, straight shots through the trees.

Picked this up at Trilogy Challenge event in SoCal. Got it in a 176 weight, which is normally heavier than I would throw. Consequently the disc for me flew 9/6/-1/1. I'm sure in a lighter weight it would have flipped more, faded more, and probably been more affected by the wind and thus matched other reviews I'm seeing here.

Glide is a 6 for sure, it is right up there with the highest glide of discs I've ever thrown. Not sure I'd call it a 7 though as that would make it supreme, but eh let's fairly go 6 as it's definitely up there with very few other discs. Nuke SS comes to mind for glide.

Turn at this weight for me was a 1 and fade was a 1. This resulted in a dead nuts straight disc for me. It would take whatever you gave it and hold it. On the flip side if you turned it  all the way over or threw it anny out the hand... it would stay there for a bit! It definitely for me glossed over nothing, so I can't call it a beginner disc.

A lot of my cardmates and others at the tournament struggled with the driver, and it may have been weight. For me though... I threw an ace in practice, a bunch of back to back birdies in the tournament and overall found this disc suited me really well. It's 100% in the bag for straight throws, and at the weight I got it in, fighting the wind believe it or not.

This is a stellar first driver for new players, and becomes a very shapeable disc for more advanced players. 7 glide? Proooobably more of a marketing trick than reality, but it certainly has plenty of carry!

This is such a money hyzer-flip disc after breaking in. I think newer players will especially love this disc as it will give you a confidence boost with the nice bit of distance it can add to your drives. As others have mentioned, wind will do a number on this one, but on a calm day it's surprisingly controllable. It turns a good amount but it does still come back pretty reliably for me. In my experience, it doesn't turn and burn as often as faster discs with a similar stability.

Also, goldline plastic is great. I always feel confident gripping this disc. The combination of grip & modest rim size on this disc has given me some of my best feeling releases.

The saint is a great somewhat understable control driver that has insane glide and a great feel in the hand, especially for backhands.  A gold line saint can beat in to the perfect understable fairway driver that can allow less powerful arms to achieve their greatest possible difference.  I use a beat-in gold line saint for forehand turnovers and backhand hyzer flips with a little fade.

The saint is my go-to disc that I always have in my hand unless there's a ton of wind in my face. It's extremely reliable, feels great in the hand, and glides for days. Tunnel shot? Saint. Hyzer flip? Saint. Need a slight turn to end up landing right in line in front of you? Saint. Want to break in a disc for a reliable hyzer flip? Saint. I found one on a course and thew it once in a field before I called the owner and returned it. All I needed was one throw to go buy one immediately, and it hasn't left my bag since. Mine is a gold line saint, and as long as you don't find a domey one it's true to the numbers. I can bomb this thing as far as my distance drivers, and I'll often grab this in place of a speed 12 or 13 if I want to be more accurate.

The Saint is a great disc for tailwinds and for low wind situations -- it's difficult to throw in any other type of wind.  It's one of the glidiest discs I've ever thrown, and when the wind is down or at your back, that's a huge boon.  This disc will just carry and carry.  Without wind, it will turn over a fair bit, but usually fade back to the left unless you roll your wrist or really put a lot of power on it.

When the wind is up and blowing any other direction though, watch out.  The flight plate on this disc catches the wind like no other disc I've thrown.  When thrown into a headwind, you should expect this disc to turn over and not fade back unless you release it with a fair bit of hyzer (the angle of which is of course tricky to figure out in a headwind).  I once threw this disc with a very slight hyzer on a right to left cross wind.  The wind gusted briefly, which was enough to pick the disc up probably 50 feet in the air and move it almost that far to the left.  After the gust, the disc glided another almost hundred feet to the left and over the fence at the edge of the park.  Fortunately, I was able to get it back, but I learned my lesson about throwing the Saint on a breezy day.

Still, when the wind is down and there is a long narrow fairway to navigate, I'll definitely consider pulling out my Saint.  Like any disc with -2 turn and 2 fade, you can throw a variety of lines with this disc, from hyzer flip and straight shot to S curve to anhyzer.  If you struggle to throw speed 11, 12, etc. discs, a Saint with its crazy glide could very well be your maximum distance disc.

My Saint is in Gold line plastic and is fairly domey, though not so much that there have been any grip issues.  I wouldn't recommend the using Saint as your go to driver since it can be so finicky in the wind, but it's for sure a great option to have in the bag if the conditions are right.

Statistically speaking, as you are reading this post, a saint is in the air. They fly so far, for so long, and require very little power to get there. This is not a very great beginner disc, but it belongs in every intermediate player's bag. I'd say get this disc on your 2nd trip to the disc store, even if you can't get it to flip up now, you will eventually, and when you do you will be addicted to this disc. If can do it all. It fights out of flex shots, it can be ripped in a straight line and finish sliding dead straight forward, and can be used as a hyzer shot around trees. You can easily use this as a one disc round, even at a 9 speed. It does it all very well I cannot possibly recommend this disc enough.

This might be the best fairway/control driver out there! I currently bag 2 Gold-line Saints in my bag. One beat up 167g and one brand new 172g, the first one is fairly understable. I would almost compare it to a brand new Opto-Fury of the same weight. But that is because of the way its been beaten in. I can get great long turnover shots if I release it flat or I can hyzer flip it to a nice S-curve. The Newer one is, as one would expect, slightly more stable and there is no need to hyzer flip it to get a great long S-curve. These two discs are probably the ones in my bag that gets the most use, outside of my putters. I absolutely love these discs and I can carve out just about any shot I want. I also bag a 174g opto Saint, which I use when I need some more overstability in the shot, like long sweeping hyzers. All three discs provided that signature Saint glide and they are actually some of the longest discs in my bag. I think that if I had to recommend a Lat 64 Fairway to someone just starting out I would suggest a Fury or a River to start but ones they have played for a while I would insist on them at least trying a saint.

In conclusion, LOVE LOVE LOVE the Saint. Give me some more please!

Alas the gilded-lined disc shone brilliantly like a Saint as it fell from heaven, glimmering as bright as the sun, illuminated by glory; however, its golden lines and beautiful S curves were quickly thwarted by the cruel ways of this world. A fierce updraft like an army of a thousand demons quickly overtook its greatness as it was snatched from the high kingdom. These demon winds sent a shiver down my spine as I watched in terror the events about to unfold. The beautiful gilded saint crashed down against the dark, cold earthen streets with a beating mightier than Thor's hammer, hitherto it had been flawless in all aspects, but the ways of this world had quickly overcome it. However, by the grace of God it rebounded up once again, resisting to be bent and twisted by these demons as it triumphantly returned to its original path of the straight and narrow. I now hold in my bag a testament of God's grace, and every winter solstice I confidently draw my Saint from my sheath knowing full well it can conquer all adversity and slay demon winds, concrete, and all shrubbery, casting them back from whence they came.

The saint is absolutely the most reliable fairway I have come across at his point, and the only disc that I have bagged after just one field session.

The gold line verson will start out as a super straight flyer and break-in to a disc that offers a little more high speed turn. Both of the saints I have picked up to date have been reliable regardles of line I throw them on.

Newer players may find a fresh gold line a bit overstable out of the box but this is a disc that can develop with you. And after a few tree hits this disc will really begin to show you its true flight numbers, I am strongly considering cycling these!

The Saint gives me 350 ft or so distance.  Has a nice flight with a little bit of turn.  The Saint is easy to grip and you don't need a lot of arm speed to get a nice flight. Mine is a Goldline 171g.  For the more powerful players this disc will flip pretty easy but if you slow down and throw smooth it will fly very nice.  A beginner might want to look for a Saint in a light weight less than 170g.

I traded a friend of mine a brand spanking new Champ Leopard for his slightly beat Gold Line Saint about 3 months ago. I had been carrying the Leo around for a while, and it wasn't getting much love (mainly because it was flying like a brand new Thunderbird instead of a Leopard.) When my buddy started complaining that his Saint had hit one too many trees to go dead straight anymore, it piqued my interest. I had been jealously watching him throw his Saint for a while now, and wasn't long from buying my own when he offered to trade. Acquisition over with, I began my new and strange love affair with slower speed, slightly flippy discs. At first, I sort of felt shafted. The disc felt great in my hand, but wasn't really flipping like I had expected. It also took a throw or two to figure out the glide. Once I got this dialed in though, my Saint became a work horse.

If you really crank on this disc, it will turn over, and it probably won't come back. Give it a little finesse though, a touch of hyzer, and a nice smooth swing, then sit back and watch it pop up to flat and go forever. Little less hyzer and you'll get beautiful S curves out of it. I also love this for touch FH shots. If I need something to be accurate AND to get way down the fairway (because I probably hit a tree 40 feet off the tee) I'm reaching for this. A stand still FH with hardly any power, dead straight for 300 feet is not out of the question with the Saint.

The Saint sits wonderfully in the hand either FH or BH, in my personal opinion. In gold Line (the only plastic I've tried it in) the release is clean and there's plenty of grip unless its wet, but this is no big deal if you have a towel in your bag. Gold line seems to beat in at a pleasing rate, making the wearing process predictable. I might end up grabbing another one soon to replace the one I have when it finally retires. And for any of you who say you'll never throw it again, feel free to send my your unused Saints. I'll give them a good home!

Gold line 173g. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite discs in my bag. For reference, my max (rhbh) is usually around 380'-400' depending on the wind. The Saint is the longest straight flying disc I've thrown. It's still quite new, but yesterday I threw it at about 75% on a slight hyzer on a 342' hole yesterday and the disc ended up slightly pin high and to the left. It flipped up and just glided right at the basket and then had a very mild fade. Flies like a midrange but goes much further. Also, I agree with others that it flies much better on a lower line. For those currently throwing Teebirds, I've been throwing a 170g Star Teebird for about a year and and the Saint has more glide and distance.

I.Love.This.Disc. Great addition to my bag. Flies as advertised and is even a great FH option. I wouldn't make it a first-choice beginner disc since, as a 9-speed and 7-glide, it takes a bit of polished delivery to leverage its benefits.

same as most i really wanted to love this disc as well but just can't.  The mold feels so great in your hand but the flight is not as advertised.  It is to understable and the fade is more like a 1. just can't trust it.  I have gotten this thing to laser straight on a big hyzer flip and go farther than any 9 speed disc but only a few times, the disc is to inconsistent and flippy.  Get a saint pro. Now that is a good disc! it is the corrected version in my opinion. A more trusty alternate to the saint also would be a Legacy Bandit its more stable out the gate and controllable.  Sadly beats in and becomes fairly flippy as well but not as much.

I really am trying to love this disc but for me it was just so understable I ended up taking it back to the store to compare with other Saint's because I thought it may have been a misprint or something. I bought an opto one and it's pretty much exactly like my gold line.

Sometimes this thing has a nice Falchion type shape, most of the time it is unreliable. For my money a Falchion is WAY more reliable and much more smooth of an action.

Hard disc to control due to flippiness. It has very good amount of glide as advertised, but for me controlling both the hyzer angle and the power perfectly at release made me pretty much abandon this disc.

Would recommend saint pro, undertaker or thunderbird probably if you are wanting to throw with any power and not worry so much about how the disc will sail left to right.

Not sure if my 172g gold line is unusually understable, but this disc does definitely not work as overstable control driver.

I still find this disc could be very good for easy distance for slower throw speeds and one thing I still use it for from time to time is strong tailwind drives.

The Saint in the Gold Line plastic is a great backhand driver for players with medium arm speed because of it's neutral flight path and fantastic glide. I've also started working it with my forehand because of how well it stays off the ground without a lot of power. A good disc that isn't as reliable as a Teebird or other stable-to-overstable driver but can give you good distanc with extra glide rather than turn.

I love my speed 9 disc and I bag two Saints, one at 169 and one at 175. They both are easy to throw and get great distance with a beautiful S curve. I tend to throw the 175 more often as it is'nt quite as touchy and handles the wind a little better. The 169 will turn more with a little less fade, but will land about 15-20ft past the 175. I average about 300' with my old noodle arm with my Saints.

The Saint is a fantastic disc that in another situation would be in my bag and thrown a ton.

This disc is marketed as an effortless distance machine, and it is EXACTLY that. It does not require a ton of effort to get it out there. On average in the field, I was getting 30-40 feet more on it than anything else in my bag with a long natural s flight path. It feels good to throw, and its flight path is a thing of beauty.

However, it is not a disc that is for me. On an open, long fairway the Saint would be the first disc I reached for. However, I play mostly tight wooded courses that limit the room that the Saint likes to have to reach its full potential. Many a times my Saint left my hand with such promise, only to start breaking out of its high speed turn a breath too late to avoid that tree or branch. A couple of times the glide just took it farther than I wanted it to go. Trying to underpower the Saint seems silly, as I have other discs for that job.

In the end, I pulled the Saint out of my bag. By no means am I writing this disc off- I plan on keeping it around if I happen to start playing courses where it can be used to its full potential more often. The Saint absolutely is as glidey and long and effortless as is it billed to be, it just isn't well suited for the courses I play.

Acquired a Gold Line Saint, 167g, I knew that it would start out a bit overstable and that Gold Line seasons in very nicely.  The Gold Line plastic is my favorite over all brands, and my Saint feels great in the hand.  The Saint does have the advertised high glide, which is also what I wanted to take advantage of.

My Saint has seasoned in well, and while I can (and do)  throw it straight and get a good straight flight with a finishing fade, my Saint has become a fantastic disc for helix/flex shots where some maneuverability is wanted.  It's hitting its "sweet spot", and one good thing about Gold Line plastic that I've found is that once it gets into that sweet spot, it ends to stay there for a good long time.

Those that want the Saint to remain stable/overstable might prefer the Opto plastic, which doesn't season in as quickly.  But in any case, the Saint is an excellent choice for those who like discs with glide.

Easy to throw control driver that slower arms can appreciate. I only average 275'-300' with this disc but I am always confident in where it will land.  It will hold up in a moderate to light wind well, just dont expect it to be a wind fighter. This disc gets a lot of use and has held up nicely. I would recomend this to anyone looking for a stable control driver.

This disc is probably the most RELIABLE disc i have found to date. I have a saint and a saint pro  . When i need to place a disc 450 out solid straight line for a birdie i grab this disc. When i need to tomahawk ( yes i said tomahawk ) i grab this disc its slight stability allows for a great tomahawk. When i need to throw a disc and know what it will do with no inconsistent b.s. I throw this . The people who say they only get 300 out of this disc must have shit for form because ive seen some of the newest players to disc golf get 300 out of this disc . Dont be fooled by bad reviews this disc is meant for control and reliability. Caution if this disc is understable for you then get a full weight saint and worry no more . This disc is no joke and will beat any other speed 9 disc in performance

Okay the main criticism I have for the Saint is what is said right on the disc. "Overstable Control Driver." There is nothing overstable about this disc. I threw this on a 320ft. Hyzer shot, expecting it to fly like a Teebird. Instead of a 320 ft. Hyzer, the flight was a 375 ft. hyzer flip to anhyzer that never faded at the end. What a horrible description of a disc! I am really not a fan of false advertising, and I don't throw very far so discs shouldn't be THAT much less stable than intended when I throw the disc for the first time.

Once I started using the Saint for what it was actually intended for, I found that it had a fairly nice flight path. It was a little to volatile for me, as It is very sensitive to angle control at higher speeds. It will hold a line for a long time, but will usually come back at the end. With a lot of air under the disc, some great anhyzer shots can be thrown. I didn't try it for a roller, but I feel like I could throw a nice roller line with the Saint.

I would suggest this disc for Intermediate level players that are trying to add fairway drivers to their bag. The Saint is very controllable at lower speeds, and can be a great addition to lower level golfers' bags.

I have a gold line Saint at 167 g.  I bought it to be my distance driver when I was still fairly new to the sport.  It worked well in this role and flew fairly close to the flight ratings (rhbh).  I've since increased my power significantly and this disc flies a little more understable for me than the ratings.  It is still in my bag, but I tend to use it as a long approach disc or full power uphill or with a tailwind.  I also use it for anhyzer shots as it holds this line quite well for me.  Good disc, but not a must have for me currently.

Well, after enjoying my GL River so much, I decided to hop on the Saint train.  Picked up a 175 Gold Line blue/grey Saint.  When Latitude 64 says this is a longer River, they aren't kidding.  The Saint will finish with a more pronounced and predictable fade near the end of flight.  I would say the glide is better with the River, but the speed of the Saint makes up the distance and then some.  Absolute laser of a disc that gives you very predictable and overall straight flight paths.  Would recommend for players of all levels.

The saint is a fantastic fairway driver that should be in everyones bags. The glide on this disc is unreal,  the saint gets maximum distance with minimal effort. This disc is my go to anny shot and can handle any line I put it on.

This disc is perfect for those beginner to intermediate players that ready to disc up and and start throwing faster discs. It has a great feel and will hold whatever line you want to put it on.

Super reliable straight flyer, huge amount of glide! Goldline plastic is crazy durable as well!

Latitude 64 discs are just amazing. The saint is one of my go to discs in little to no wind. It is very smooth straight flight with a little hyzer at the end. The rim fits perfectly in my hand. It's not to wide like high speed drivers. I can even throw it sidearm and I just watch it glide for ever.

When I disced down to 9 and below, the Gold Line Saint was the disc I went to when I needed the distance. It was also the only 9-speed driver in my bag. This disc is all about flight--the moment it leaves your hand, it just glides for days. It's got just enough turn to it to tweak its finish forward, but not enough that it's so easy to shank. It fights the headwinds quite nicely, and despite its glide it isn't so easily picked up and thrown off course. It responds to release angles very well and will hold the lines you put it on. The Saint takes both hyzers and anhyzers smoothly. I've torqued this disc and watched it try to dive off to the right, but it maintained its glide and flexed back just flat enough to sit down where it needed to. It's an honest disc, but forgiving at the same time. Friendly to all skill levels, the Saint is a definite must-have in Lat64's lineup. You can't go wrong.

I really like this disc, the more and more I use it. Lat 64 GL plastic is the shizzz and the Saint is such a reliable disc. Long shot you need a steady right turn...pull out your saint. Dead straight shot 350, pull out your saint. Hyzer-flip through a narrow gap, pull out your saint.... Somebody tell me why I haven't bought more of this disc.

I just picked up a Gold Line Saint at 170g and I am absolutely in LOVE with it!!! First time out on the local course and I noticed right away that it was a great flying disc and has nice glide! It instantly became one of my "must have" discs!

What a beautiful disc, both the plastic and the flight. I picked one up at 168g in Gold Line plastic. From the first toss, I was hooked. I throw this disc in the 350' range, and my longest throws are in the 400' range with either a GL Flow (for no fade) or a Star Wraith (for more hook at the end). This disc throws quite a bit like the Flow but with less effort. Power down a bit, snap good spin on it and just put it on a line, then stand back and watch this thing glide effortlessly. The Teebird reference gets used all too often, but this disc is somewhat comparable to a very slightly worn 'bird, but with more predictable turn, far more glide, and more predictable fade. I throw the Teebird and Saint similar distances, but the Saint just seems to get there more accurately and with less effort. I can't say enough about this disc, and Latitude as a company as a whole. Their quality, flight paths, feel, durability and glide of their plastic is just unmatched by any other company I've come across. Give it 15 years, and people will be looking back to Latitude plastic, both Gold Line and Opto, in the same way people now look at CE. It's just that far ahead of the pack...

I just used a Saint for the first time last weekend. My max distance backhand throws are generally about 330 feet. I haven't measured, but I'm pretty sure my first few throws with the Saint exceeded that. This thing glides like no other. You don't have to try and throw it hard, just a nice controlled throw with snap will go forever. This is my new go to Distance Driver.

For me, The Saint is an out-of-the-box dead straight 320' with fade at the end. It fits in the hand nicely, comes off clean and just tracks slight right forever, then finishes out in line with the tee. I own it in Gold plastic, and it is still new-flying. We'll see what time does to it, but judging from it's fade, I think it will become a fantastic hyzer-flip disc for me.
