Go with the Flow. The Latitude 64 Flow has been put to the test and the results show that this is one of the BEST discs for forehand drives for intermediate players. This disc has the right sized rim (2.2cm) and the right amount of speed, glide, turn, and fade to provide a consistent release and maximum distance. The Flow glides farther than almost any other disc on the market. This relatively stable distance driver is also excellent for backhand throws.

I have just recently added a flow to my bag and it is a great bridge between something like an Aztec/Undertaker slot and an overstable driver like a Destroyer. It has enough fade and little enough turn to be reliable but is still workable without using your full power.

I've had a Flow for awhile now and just never really got it out and used it until recently.  Now that I have started using it, I wish I had earlier.

Throwing this with a FH, it has to be pretty calm or have a tailwind.  Otherwise for me it just dumps over.  I can get more distance easier with a Ballista Pro on a calm day or into a slight headwind.  The feel is nice and I get a good smooth release.  I really like the feel of the goldline plastic.  It has enough grip, but doesn't get too slick.

Throwing this on a BH is where I have really found the place for the Flow.  I usually throw in the 7-8 speed range for BH drives and I like stable to slightly overstable discs such as the Saint Pro and the Explorer.  What I find is in a steady headwind, these discs either get turned over, or don't get the same distance for me.  This is where the Flow fits for my arm speed.  I can BH a Flow and get equal to or more distance with the slower fairways, but still trust it won't turn over and not come back.  I can release it on a slight hyzer and it will stand up flat, ride for awhile, and then finish with a good fade at the end.

This disc is a very under rated disc that doesn't get the attention it deserves.  It might not be new or flashy, but it gets the job done effectively.  Play smarter and get yourself one.

I'm a big fan of the gold line plastic that my flow came in. I got it almost 3 years ago and it seems that the current runs of gold line are a little less grippy and more of a solid color. Mine has some pearly streaks through it and more grip. My favorite thing about this disc is that it can handle a lot of power without turning over, but it doesn't fade out very hard. It earns the name flow because it flies smooth, straight, and soft all the way to the ground and has plenty of glide. In a tail wind with some power this is probably one of the furthest flying discs I own. It's a true stable driver because it wont finish hard at the end, but it will handle a lot of power before turning over. I only give it 4 stars because it's a one trick pony. It does long straight backhands really well but thats about all its good for. I prefer a star wraith because it flies very similarly and flies well no matter how you throw it.

The Flow is an AMAZING glidey high speed distance driver. It is one of the furthest flying discs in my bag easily. I use it as a Hyzer flip disc or a flat release disc. It doesn't deal with wind very well obviously since it has so much glide and instability, but if you put enough hyzer on it you will be fine in a slight headwind. There are a lot of bad reviews on this disc which I highly disagree with. Buy one and try it yourself. You won't be disappointed.

SUPER underrated disc, and I think that's because we don't see really any pros throwing the Flow, I presume because it isn't stable enough for them, but it is perfectly stable for my noodle arm. The Flow is the only double digit speed driver I have in the bag right now, and I carry 5. 2 lightweight gold line for stable-understable drives, 2 max weight gold line for stable drives, and an opto for drives that I want to be sure don't turn over. I can flip up my lightweight golds and have them ride the line for most of the flight. My max weight golds will flip up slightly but mainly hold whatever line they're put on, and my opto will hold the line with incredible glide. I don't have enough power for anything with more speed to be of any use, so this combination of Flows takes care of all my max distance needs for the rare opportunity on the course to throw one just to see how far it goes.

This disc is amazing. I have a gold line 174 i got from Chandler Fry. Its the straightest flying disc i have besides a putter. I can put a lot of power into it and will just have a slow turn with a slight fade at the end. This disc is great at all levels of the game.

The Flow is beefier than advertised. As a backhander, I don't generate enough power for its natural flight. It's much better suited for flicks and has enough stability to be dependable in any conditions.

RHBH, the Flow requires anhyzer release for a flex shot to get any distance. This doesn't suit my throwing style, because I generate much better arm speed/power on hyzer flips. I occasionally try to bag it for windy days, but my Havoc, Sword and Trespass get more distance into the wind and those don't need the anny torque to get there.

Overall, the Flow isn't a bad mold. It just doesn't suit my game. Forehanders will appreciate its glide and stability much more than backhanders.

A really fun disc to throw. Once beat in you can really get this disc to turn and flex back. A very reliable disc. I like to think of it as a less flippy bolt with maybe not quite as much distance. I think the ratings are right on. Would recommend.

I got a 168g Opto Flow a few months back. At first I wasn't too impressed. The disc seemed far more stable than my Blizzard Champion Wraiths, which are a much lower weight, and I just wasn't seeing the glide or distance that I had read about. As a result it only made it into my bag periodically. I started bringing it along on windy days thinking I could utilize the stability. The more I threw the disc, the more I realized that I just hadn't been putting enough power/snap into this disc. The past weeks the Opto Flow has become (not really conciously)  my go to distance driver. The more I get to know this disc, the more I find I can trust the reliability of the flight and get that distance I'm looking for on drives. With a good snap this disc displays minimal early turn, gets very respectable distance and has reliable fade. This disc is virtually unafected by moderate wind, although I haven't yet had the chance to use it strong winds. I don't think this would be a disc I would put in the hands of a beginner, but for a player with a bit of experience I feel this one is well worth getting to know.

I can't seem to get the Flow.  I've decided it will be the disc that lets me know my arm speed is coming up.  It says its an 11 speed, but I have a few other 11's and I can get them to fly by the numbers.  This thing hyzers out every time around 200 feet.  Havn't tried putting some serious anny on it, but on flat throws I can't get the reported glide and distance to kick in.  Love all my other Trilogy discs, so I'm hoping I grow into this one soon.  I hear its good on forehands, but I don't throw those well at all!

You can give it more power backhand, but forehand needs finesse and stability fan grip or stacked can't get power to work, and overhead shots have never worked well. Also too much wind will ruin this disc flight path. Good for straight shots as well. Something I rarely  pull out.

I totally judged this book by it's cover. I was thinking "Oh great some weird glidey disc, the FLOW." I had a little more hope when I read the description on the disc, which said it is an overstable disc with a lot of glide.

I took a Gold Line Flow out to a field and was very surprised at how awesome this disc flew. I carry a Discmania S-Line DD in my bag, and it flew almost exactly like that disc. It could handle a lot of power, and was a very controllable hyzer disc.

I would recommend this disc to anyone that is looking for a distance driver, but a trespass or destroyer is too much disc. This disc is like a stepping stone towards that calibur of disc.

Has since lost pretty much all stability but is a hyzer flip machine, goes super straight and glide well. I just bought a new gl misprint for flicks. I also bag a 173 domey opto which is considerably more stable than the gl and it's a skip machine. Currently bagging three of these bad boys and it's my go to driver for any normal drive that doesn't need a super strong fade

I have a 168g Gold Line Flow that for the longest time was my go to driver. It was incredibly stable, and would hold a line perfectly. After beating it in, it has obviously lost that stability. It still holds a decent line, but too much power and it will turn over like an understable disc. Any anhyzer and it will turn into a roller. If I throw it with 75-80% power, it will behave like it's old reliable self. Overall, a near perfect disc. Just wish it held up a little better.

Mine is 168 gl, beautiful plastic, right out of the gate was an awesome disc. Has since lost some of the initial stability and I find myself starting to turn it over from time to time. Great flick disc, easy to control. My main stay driver

Udate: I traded my gold line for an orange opto. I am much happier with this one! This one flies like it should, like a surge with more glide. Had anyone else had trouble with the grey gold line ones? Usually I prefer gold line, but not this time.

I first came in contact with a flow when my good buddy Andrew Belet (who frequently comments on here) got one in a trade from a guy. We went out and he let me give it a toss and i immediately had to have it. I have three in goldline plastic and i use them on almost every hole that requires a driver. I have a wraith and the flight pattern is identical but i can get alot more glide out of my flow. I have only been playing DG for about a year now and i was having trouble with my backhand until i got the flow. I cant speak for everyone but the ease with which i can throw the disc greatly improved my backhand. Its also great for forehand throwers as well. I use mine religiously and have never been dissapointed. Bottom line is if ur looking for a great disc for either forehand or backhand the flow just might be the disc for you.

After watching some friends throw the Flow, I had to have one. Theirs seemed to fly just like the above reviews; long, stable, and glidey. However my grey GL flow seemed to be very overstable, more like my Predator actually. So maybe there is just more variance in this mold than some others, but I was disappointed.

A GL Flow became my go to driver for anything that was dead straight and 350'-390' just more than a year ago, and I'm still throwing that same exact disc for that toss. It's glidey with predictable turn, and just a straight finish with a very, very slight hook just before touching down. The only time this disc comes second to another driver for my max distance is when there's a strong headwind, or a VERY strong left to right wind (for my right-hand/back-hand throw) as its incredible glide can leave it turning over and getting away from you. Otherwise, it's my go to distance driver and has opened a whole new combination of distance and accuracy that I've not before known.

The Flow goes the distance. This disc just glides and glides for my forehand throws. It is just the right stableness for an intermediate player like me.
