Disc - (3) 175 Gold Line Explorers

Feel - The Explorer is very comfortable in the hand as it feels like it's innova counterpart, the teebird. I actually prefer the feel of the Explorer over the teebird.

Flight - The Explorer starts out like a slightly beaten in teebird. If you prefer your teebirds a bit straighter then I would definitely recommend an Explorer. If you are a big trilogy thrower then the Explorer is an absolute must have in the bag. I absolutely love the Explorer and have definitely become a better player since adding it into my bag.

Overall - The Explorer is a fantastic disc that I'd recommend to any player no matter of skill level.

The Explorer is an outstanding fairway driver from Lat64. I think its built to resemble a Teebird. It very much looks and flies like one. The gold line burst plastic is very shiny, smooth, and slightly gummy. I really loved the feel and flight of this plastic.

The Explorer is exactly what a good fairway driver should be. It holds a straight line for a long while before gently fading at the end of flight. The disc has such a neutral flight pattern that its almost boring. Pinpoint accurate and very easy to dial in off the tee. I found that the Explorer worked very well for drives 350'-400'. 400' might be pushing the envelope a little with the Explorer, but this disc will do that distance reliably and accurately if you have the arm for it.

IMO, the Explorer is a disc that ought to be in the bag of anyone who throws trilogy discs. Its one of the best pure fairway drivers I've ever thrown and I was able to instantly bond with it on the course. No learning period necessary. Very good glide. An easy 5 star rating here.
