The Latitude 64 Diamond just might be the BEST disc golf driver for beginners. This disc has just the right speed, turn, and glide to maximize distance for weaker throwers. It’s also available in very light weights, which helps newer disc golfers overcome limited distance from low speed fade. Not only is the Diamond a great disc for beginners, but it comes in the very durable Opto Line plastic. This disc will endure punishment and maintain its flight characteristics for years. If you’re new to disc golf and want to excel, buy the Diamond today! Many disc golfers use their Diamond for more than approach or fairway drives, but also for the their drives straight off the tee. That is because the rim size allows for a perfect grip to throw it with power.

The is possibly the best first driver around.

My daughter picked out a pink first run as a gift and though she is only 7 she gets a good 100ft s curve out of it.

My wife borrowed it for a round and was consistently getting fairly straight 250 ft shots and she is not at all experienced. It helped her shoot a 905 rated round on a pretty difficult course, which is pretty impressive.

I am much bigger and experianced than both of them, and probably wouldn't bag one for myself, but darn if it isn't easy to get huge distance from. With a stand still, flick of the wrist hyzer I was easily clearing 350. With little to no effort.

The winid can mess with this disc, and I tryed rolling it and it wasn't the best roller I've ever bagged. But certainly serviceable.

If your a new player and want to gain distance, forget all of the high speed stuff for now. Try a Diamond and watch it glide.

Probably the best beginner driver on the market.  Comes in low weights for lower arm speeds or to work on technique.  Beginners may add distance and see a flight as the numbers describe or a nice S curve.  This will start to progress to a turn and burn and a little more hyzer will need to be added from the start.  This is when I started learning to thrown anhyzers or turnover shots with this disc.  I throw this the furthest at max power on a hyzer flips, it flips up, turns right and fades back.  Just make sure to learn the right height, too high and it will stall, not high enough and it will dive right or not have the time to cover the distance.  For an 8 speed driver this is the fathers disc I've thrown to date.

The Diamond is my secret weapon for turnover shots. I'm not sure if a hyzer flip turnover shot is a thing, but that's how I use it. And once I harnessed its flippiness, the Diamond improved my scores. When released on a steep hyzer with plenty of air, the Diamond flips to flat and immediately turns hard, then lands without a fade, far to the right (RHBH.) If not thrown high enough, it turns and burns horrifically. But when thrown properly, it can be controlled to be a very dependable turnover disc. Powered down, the Diamond can be thrown incredibly straight.

Lower powered players may find the Diamond to be true to its numbers. Average and higher powered throwers will find it to have more turn than any disc they've ever thrown. My rating of 7, 6, -4, 0, is the best I could do with the scale given. I'd rate the Frost Line Diamond as having negative fade, if that were possible. However, my Moonshine Diamond is more accurate to the factory ratings.

The Diamond can be a useful utility mold for experienced players, but it's designed for beginners and players with low arm speed. This would make an excellent first driver for beginners.

If I had to describe the Diamond using only one word, I'd cheat and use a hyphen: SUPER-FLIPTASTIC!

Perfect first driver. Comes in lighter weights which I love, and the Frost Line plastic is ridiculously grippy. Glides forever with little to no fade. At 60% power released flat it will turn a little and finish in the center. At 80% it gives a beatiful anhyzer curve, and is laser straight on hyzer flips. Also good for form work.

Get one for beginners. Glide machine. Theyll love it.

I'm not sure if its the weight (150g) or if im throwing it too hard, but it reminds me of my very very beat in DX valkyrie. Except I get much more distance with a lot less effort. I dont exactly get it to become a roller, but it will pull far right.

I threw it soft on a few short holes and almost always threw too far. Like I said, glide machine.
