If you bought this to be your slightly overstable mid-range, i'm sorry but thats not what this disc is.

I use this disc for lots of shots. It is somewhat resistant "flipping" at high speeds but it will hold the line I put it on. It is really comfortable for forehand and backhand. This is one of my first favorite disc. I learned to throw with an ultimate disc and this disc felt comfortable from that transition.

I got this as a mystery disc.  176g gold line Compass. It says overstable on it but I'd rank it as just stable.  And I'm no power thrower.  It goes straight with good glide and not much fade.  I use this disc a lot, probably my most used mid range, since I can just point and shoot without worrying about turning or fading.  Just send it towards where you want it.

I was a die hard Buzzz Z-line fan until I got my hands on the Compass.
As my game was improving I needed a disc that would be sightly more overstable and Compass matched all requirements.
With average arm speed I can make it go super straight for nearly 300 ft.
It has a gentle, predictable fade and with lower arm speed you can throw it with a slight anhyzer to get some extra distance.
There is no way I'm gonna hit the course without it.

This is an easy disc to learn to throw and play with. When it comes to adding a little power it turns, a lot. i would only use this disc for lightly thrown tunnel shots and turn over throws.

This disc fit your hand very well has nice flat top. It makes for a very easy release. When i introduce a person to disc golf for the first time this is the disc i give them. Beginners take to this disc pretty quickly.

Great beginner disc.  Beginners will find it overstable, but once they fix their form, it is a strait flyer.

I have 2 compass in my bag currently, 1 172g metal flake opto line sockibomb stamp, and one 175g goldline compass. and for me they both do totally different things. my goldline one will fly out flat turn to the right and still fade back in the end. i would say a rating of 5,5,-1,1. where as my metal flake opto i can throw it on big spike hyzers, long hyzer lines. amd with a little anhyzer itll still flip out and fade id say a rating of 5,5,0,2.
