I bag both a Teebird and Teebird3. the Teebird3 has a touch more control for me and i tend to use it more on wood courses where placement is key. With it being super flat, it is very comfortable on forehands as well.

This is my second review for the Teebord3, but the AB Champ Color Glow is money!  It has become my go-to sidearm fairway driver.  The stability is enough to keep it from turning over on a powerful flick and is great in the wind, but it isn't so over stable that it's a meat hook. The flight of the AB TB3 is very straight before the stability kicks in resulting in a late fade.  Whether used on tight wooded lines or in the open, this is a great disc!

I wanted something slower than a Firebird and Thunderbird, but that was still overstable and would allow me to throw on hyzer and allow it glide out rather than dump left (RHBH). This disc did exactly that. I like the 8 speed as I am strong enough to get it powered up and allow it to fly like it is supposed to when thrown flat. But I can get 45' more distance if I throw it on anhyzer.

It has a very predictable finish left and usually gets a good skip. Love the feel of color glow champion.

This review is for the Colorglow Teebird3 (TB3)- I throw the 21 Barela

Bottom Line Up Front: Pumped up glide makes a great mold even better. Versatile.

The TB3 has a flatter profile, and a modified nose/wing, and a touch less glide than the average Teebird. Because of its profile it is better for wind, and its nose makes it more torque resistant than the TB. If you combine the modifications the TB3 has with the typical enhanced glide (not always) of CG plastic you get a really unique and capable disc.

The CG TB3 is a workhorse in my bag, and capable of replacing multiple other discs. I can shred fairways with it, even on wooded courses. You can do flip to flat, hyzers, or even long distance flex lines. Look up Ricky launching one 530 ft during a Waco practice round to park a hole that was eating strokes across the field during competition. Its fine for a lot of applications, and I would recommend this disc for all levels of players as long as they have proficiency with slower discs.

    Pros: Versatile, easy to use

Cons: May cause you to think you're better than you are.
