This is my "reliable workable fairway driver" safety blanket disc. The dome of the traditional Teebird doesn't feel as good in my hand as the flatter version so I throw these instead.

It starts out straight with reliable fade, and beats into dead straight, and with a lot of wear can develop some turn, but never "flippy". Basically turns into a neutral disc.

My experience is that it's less stable and has less fade than a traditional Teebird, but that isn't a problem for me.

l generally like Star plastic best, but I have Halo Star, Champ, and Luster as well. They're all pretty consistent and there's honestly not a huge difference in stability in my experience, but what changes I've experienced in stability tends to follow the CW on Innova plastic. Halo Star / MF Champ > Champ > Star

I carry three discs in various plastics and stages of wear that cover everything but my "flippy fairway" slot which I cover with an I blend Centurion.

I lost my old Champ Teebird3 that was given to me.  It used to be my go to back hand disc that flew straight and had reliable fade.  This new champ Teebird3 is straight beefy.  I really like the plastic and the feel in my hand.  I think I need to beat it in more for now it is really useful as a forehand disc.  On forehand will fly straight with reliable fade.

A great fairway driver that I find to be most useful in the woods. I use it mostly for forehand drives, and find that the 4 glide is pretty accurate. I prefer less glide in the woods to improve accuracy, and if I have a more wide open shot will usually opt for the Westside Bear whcih is pretty similar with more of a dome to it. The precision I can get out of this disc ensures it gets used every round I play, however.

Summary: Fantastic flight new and all points of wear.

Feel: Really flat from the Innova 3 top. The rim may be smaller, like a 7 speed but flys a tad faster. With it being a fairway driver and flatter, it feels so easy to get a good hold on. The thinness lets the hand rotate to the top of the disc and makes it feel easier to throw.

Flight: More overstable than the numbers when new, but a beat in Teebird3 flies phenomenal. New it'll hold straight for the majority of the flight, then just glide out of the air. Beat in will give the slightest flip up that will carry it farther than a new one, the same straight flight but with less glide out of the flight.

Love this disc in the champion plastic, especially the flatter runs of it. Feels great in the hand, and flies great as well. It just seems to have that perfect combination of speed, glide, turn, and fade. It performs excellently as a stable fairway driver. Even on forehand throws it flips up nicely and fades back, which makes me like it as much, if not more than the original teebird, which is saying a lot. If you are looking for a flatter, stable fairway driver, this is definitely a good one to try

This is my go-to fairway driver. This can handle the torque of a max power throw and will hardly turn but also not fade until the end of the flight. I mainly throw it backhand and this disc is great for low-ceiling line drive shots. I also like to throw this for 320ish foot hyzer because it likes to hold the angle I put it on. I do not think this is faster than a TeeBird but I do think this has slightly less glide than the TeeBird.

This disc is the straightest flying disc I've ever seen. Even with slower arm speeds you can expect it to hold a straight line for awhile. Great disc to own for woods shots.

Recently added this disc to my collection and I love it so far. As a RHBH thrower, it is great to release this disc with a bit of anhyzer and have it finish relatively straight after following an S-curve path. Threw it a few times recently at Grand Central Station, and I was very satisfied with the results. Consistent flight path and good distance. Overall, a good fairway driver; no complaints.

The Teebird3 by Innova could find a spot in anyones bag. This thing can take all the torque I can generate without turning over. Thrown with a slight hyzer this thing wants to fly straight for a long time with a nice pushing fade. In Champion plastic this thing is an absolute workhorse and is easily my most thrown fairway driver. It is has an amazing neutral flight that, at least new, has a lot of stability and can be worked at so many heights and angles. It is also excellent forehand. Get yourself a Teebird3. Actually, get more than one.

Does exactly what it should even in champion plastic, not more overstable or less. Even more proving for it, not any more or less stable now that it's been used for 9 months.

Wanted to review this disc again after picking up the Ricky TB3. That thing looks sick. And I know it's supposed to be normal champ plastic but mine feels better... Maybe just better finishing on the disc? Mine has no flashing and it feels super clean as opposed to my other champ teebirds. Either way though, TB3 is such a solid disc and it's really taken over as one of my most used throwers. So reliable and predictable. AND the shape just feels so much better to me than a normal Teebird. The sleekness of the TB3 makes the regular Teebird feel "clunky" in my hand.

I've been throwing teebirds since I started playing disc golf over ten years ago, I've always kept a teebird (or one of its many imitations) in the bag or very close by. The teebird3 is a flatter topped version of the original, though you can still find some with a fairly significant dome. I tend to use the two interchangeably.

The teebird and teebird3 is the most used disc I bag. It's perfect on low ceiling shots you want to go far and straight, it's predictable fade makes for great consistency in my game. They also have great distance potential, and often fly the same whether your throwing 300 or 400 feet, straight with a predictable finish.

I picked up the Champion Teebird3 not too long ago but it's quickly become one of my favorite discs. It's a straight flyer with some late fade when thrown flat and wont turn at all even into strong headwinds it will just fly straighter for longer. I've only ever had this thing flip once and it flipped slightly to flat but not past it. When thrown on hyzer it'll holder the hyzer and carve up any gradual bend without too much glide but still enough to reach your target. I love this disc as my neutral fairway that's good for shots around 300'

I don't think this disc would be all that good for people brand new to the game because it doesn't have any flippiness and there's plenty of discs with more glide but for someone really looking for some fade with lower arm speed, I think this disc could be serviceable in that slot for beginners.

I own the teebird3 in champion plastic and have not owned it very long.  What I can say about it having thrown it in several rounds is that it feels like a good disc for pinpointing shots.  The 4 glide is very accurate as it won't fly a long way apart from your own muscle, and brand new out of the box it is a touch more stable than other fairways.  Brand new I would give it a -1 turn rather than the normal 0 as it fights out of any turnover shots I put it on.  That may change as the disc beats in some, but so far its too stable for that.  Get this disc if you need something you can trust in the wind that will go where you place it.  It's not going to glide out on you or turn over.  It has a good fade to drop where it lands and not get skipped away easily.  Probably a bit stable for most beginners.  Takes some speed to make it shine.

Teebird3 is a great disc for shaping shots. I play a lot of wooded courses and if I need to bend a forehand flex or backhand hyzer around trees I always grab my teebird3. My only real complaint is I feel like I get better distance and glide out of my star teebird, but I definitely take the trade off for more control on my angles.

I picked this one up to replace a champion Thunderbird that I threw in a creek. It is a solid replacement and its flight is almost identical to the Thunderbird, but the rim is a little more comfortable for me, both FH and BH. So if you are looking to fill this slot it will probably come down to which one you like the feel of more.  Just like the Thunderbird, the Teebird3 is essentially a Teebird that you can trust in a headwind. There may be a touch more distance potential for bigger arms but for me, its about the same distance as a Teebird but with none of the turn. I like to  throw the Teebird3 flat and straight about 300-320ft with a reliable fade. Also good for BH and FH flex lines. I like this one for FH a little better than the Thunderbird, so even though my lost Thunderbird has now been returned, the Teebird3 might be replacing it in my bag for a while anyway.  Its definitely way too much of an overlap to carry both but they could be good back ups for each other.

I got my Teebird3 in Halo Star Plastic, and I'll be honest, after having a Teebird in Champion plastic, they honestly threw pretty similar. The Teebird3 in Halo Star Plastic is honestly more overstable than it lets on. You have to put a fair amount of anhyzer on this disc, even if you can bomb discs 400 feet plus (which is what I do), and due to that, I really would only use this disc if I had to shoot a hole that had a slight left turn to it. This disc is more of a specific situations disc, and with its edge, this disc also skips, which I actually find quite charming. So all in all, a decent disc, but not overly beginner friendly, unless you have a good concept on throwing

I specifically use this disc for turnover forehands and backhands that are a little dialed back from my thunderbird. It truly is an awesome disc and even though it is very situational for me. When I bring it out I know it will be a magical experience. Other people Im sure can have this same experience both backhand and forehand. Just based on the versatility in which this disc offers. It glides turns fades. Nothing that it does is too much, Its just right.

I got the Ricky Wysocki 2x World Champion in Champion Dye and it is a great disc. The dye is beautiful and the stamp is one of the best I've seen. The champion plastic is very durable and seems to be breaking in slowly but surely.

The disc flies straight with slight, but reliable, fade at the end. I use this disc for both forehand and backhand equally. There is plenty of glide for you to pound it down the fairway, but it still has enough control for you to hit a tunnel if you are in the woods.

My Teebird3 in Champion plastic (166 g) is a great control driver.  At first, this disc has a greater fade than the two Innova posts.  After a little fine tuning, this disc performs beautifully and the numbers are right on!  It goes very straight for a while before gently fading at the finish.  I think Champion plastic gives a great skip once it hits the ground and that holds true with this disc.  The Teebird3 is a great bridge between your midrange and distance drivers.

I have used two champion teebird3 discs as fairway drivers for a long time now.

They are great straight shot discs for any par 4+ and provide lots of control. I really enjoy my two discs. I have thrown the disc in star, dx, and champion plastic and the champion plastic feels the nicest in my hand. I would recommend this disc to anyone. It's pretty beginner friendly and can be used as a utility disc until you learn how to properly throw it. I can use my teebird3s for bot backhand and forehand. I've started to really enjoy the forehand flex lines these discs can create.

I really enjoy this disc's flight pattern once it is a little bit beaten in instead of brand new. I've found that the champion teebird3s are pretty stable (similar to new thunderbirds) when they are newer. Over time, this disc becomes much more straigh/neutral. The wind/weather only affects this disc minimally. You shouldn't have much trouble with it as long as you keep from throwing it nose-up.

I usually throw my teebird3s in the range of 300 - 380 feet and almost never throw them outside that range. My discs have both broken in and hold straight really well. I have a green and a blue disc with both being similar ages. My green teebird3 is more flippy for whatever reason. Maybe a color difference affects this disc's flight pattern. This disc has solidified itself in my bag as a great fairway driver. Finding itself right alongside my Lift and Criminal discs, I trust this disc's straight, reliable shot pattern.

I would give this disc 6 stars if I could. It is definitely my favorite disc in my bag. If I could only throw one disc for 18 holes, I would pick this one. I bagged a 2020 Wysocki Champion version and immediately fell in love. I throw forehand and it feels just great in hand and holds the exact line I put it on. Numbers are dead on, it goes super straight with a very nice hard fade at the end. I can throw this for distance and for shorter more touchier holes. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to fill an OS Fairway slot in their bag.

Champion Teebird3 (175g) - I bought one of these at USDGC last year, because I was looking for a fairway driver that would be stable enough to throw forehand and finish with a nice right fade (RHFH). However, I found myself to be very inconsistent with this disc. Sometimes I could throw it and it would flip to flat, other times it would stay on a nice hyzer. I know I don't have great angle control, but it was less forgiving than other discs maybe because of the in-between nature of the speed (sort of half mid, half driver). I know people really like these, but I wouldn't necessarily give one to a newer player. For some reason, I've found the Firebird to be a more consistent forehand disc, maybe because of the added stability.

The Champion Teebird 3 feels great in my hands and gives me confidence when I step up to throw. I've found this disc to be very predictable in both open shots and wooded shots. It will hold a anhyzer turn and flatten out at the end. The low glide is great because it makes this disc more predictable and you don't have to worry about the disc gliding past the basket or popping up. Overall, this disc is great for beginners and pros, ad everything in between.

This is one of my favorite discs. I bought a used one in a local store, not sure how well it would work for me. But it was easy to throw and straight as can be from day one. It is the first disc I bought multiples off and it's not coming out of my bag anytime soon. I have one in Champion and another in Luster. The Luster is a little more overstable, but still great

The Ricky teebird3 is definitely the straightest run of teebird3 I have thrown. A buddy gave me an older champion teebird3 and it was fantastic for forehand shots up to 320ft and is now broken into one of the best discs in my bag. I got the ricky teebird3 hoping for the same but it is definitely straighter than I had anticipated. Definitely not a bad disc by any means because it still fits very nicely in my bag. Still looking for that overstable teebird3 to make the bag complete though...

Finally a Teebird I like.  I've tried about 5 or 6 regular Teebirds in Star and Champion in weights from 165 to max weight and everytime I swear I have a mis-labeled Firebird.  Wicked over stable and start fading out at about 225 feet and dump hard.  But I really want to like the Teebird so I bought a Wysocki Teebird 3 (169g) so I could give it another go.  This one is legit.  Dead straight for 300 feet with a reliable, but not dumpy fade out to 330.  If you've been disappointed in Teebirds in the past, check this one out.  Will definitely compliment my Leopard 3's nicely and kick the Explorers out of my bag.
