    GStar Details

GStar is a fantastic ultra premium plastic blend by Innova. The plastic offers a unique metallic shine that not only looks good, but it is also incredibly grippy and flexible (you can literally fold a GStar disc). This plastic blend is especially recommended for playing disc golf when it's cold outside.

This is an amazing disc! The slight under stable move at the beginning really can help beginner and intermediate players get their throws down.  I have some 13 speeds but this is the disc that I can throw the furthest no matter what the circumstances.   If i was ever to lose this disk I would need to buy another right away because I cannot imagine my bag without it.

This disc was put in my order as a mystery disc. This disc is AWESOME! It has become my go to long throwing disc. The disc has a nice turn mid flight. It is also OS enough to do long flex lines. I have never thrown Gstar and it feels really good in the hand. It has some bend to it, grippy, and feels really good. This disc reminds me of my Axiom Insanity but with a lot more fade.

People tend to forget about the Orc. This is one of the best hybrid drivers ever made. It is slightly more turn than my GStar Thunderbird, but similar predictable fade and it holds up reasonably well to headwinds fresh out of the box. It’s almost like a slower Destroyer or something like that. I absolutely love this disc for forehands. I can put it on a slight hyzer and it will flip up and push forward for 330 feet and then fade predictably. Anything with a right-finishing shot shape I will probably be reaching for this disc. The GStar plastic feels great in the hand and is quite durable.

I think the Orc is one of the most underrated discs made by innova.  The orc is a feel good - throw good kind of disc. Good in the hand and good in the air.  At 10 speed with a pretty neutral stability, it's a disc that can be used for newer players working up their arm speed up to distance drivers and they can (and will) keep in their bag as they can use the disc to perform reliably. I think the Orc may be one of my most reliable discs in my bag and I know it flys smoothly with a gentle fade.
The GStar plastic is my personal favorite as the disc seems to be the most durable and keeps the same flight characteristics the longest amount of time
