I won't rate distance drivers as beginner friendly. That said, this was one of the first distance drivers that really clicked with me. I normally throw RHBH, but this disc falls into a small subset of my bag that I'm also reasonably comfortable throwing RHFH. I'd describe it like a longer faster eagle. Mine seems pretty true to the flight numbers. Thrown flat it'll turn a bit, fly a ways, then reliably dump hard to finish.

I certainly don't have a big arm yet, but if you're at the point where you feel like you're getting a normal flight out of your 8/9 speed fairway drivers I would certainly recommend giving this a shot.

When I first started playing the two discs I had for drivers were a champ beast and a champ orc, however I lost the orc very early on and the beast ended up sticking in my bag awhile longer. Since then my game has changed a lot and I wanted to revisit the orc to see how it flew. for me I could easily compare this disc to a Gstar invictus with just a bit less bite at the end of the flight. I believe if you're a player searching for a overstable disc and discs like the firebird or the invictus are a bit to much I would 100% recommend this disc.

This is an incredible forehand distance driver. I haven't thrown it too many times with my backhand, which likely wouldn't be fast enough anyway, but this thing keeps going and going with my forehand, and can stand up to the torque pretty easily. A nice slight turn and dependable fade give it that distance you're looking for in a forehand distance driver.

I have had this disc for only a month and it has quickly become one of my favorite discs in my bag. It has become a strong RHBH disc for me for because of the accuracy and control that it's given me while being able to achieve a lot of distance. This disc gave me a lot of trouble on RHFH, but once I was able to figure it out it has become one of my main FH discs, using it for quite a few FH drives and long FH approaches. I bought this originally because Nate Sexton threw an Orc, but I have loved this disc and would quickly replace it if lost.
