    Plastic: Glow Champion

    Weight: 176g

Feel: Glow Champion plastic is extremely durable and firm, and feels a little more grippy than regular Champion.  My Gator couldn't be flatter, and with the beefy rim and bead, this disc feels as overstable as it is.

Flight: No matter what, this disc will fade and fade hard, that's it really.

Conclusion: If you have to power a shot into a head or crosswind, and don't need massive distance, then grab the Gator.  Or, if it doesn't feel right, check out Innova's other OS Mids and find the perfect one for you.

Sidenote: With the flat top, the Gator is very reliable as a forehand disc.  It can also get a surprising amount of skip, which can be good or bad.

This a a very overstable mid range disc that you can trust to have a strong fade. I primally use gators for the a forehand (RHFH) approach shot that needs to go right. This disc is very dependable in the wind no matter how it is thrown. I also use the gator as a putter in heavy wind.

When thrown flat the gator will have a strong fade and minimal skip. When thrown with anhyzer it will pan but fight out very quickly. Thrown with hyzer this disc will find its way to the ground quickly.

I have an X-out Champion Glow Gator that I am really enjoying. If you are looking at a Gator you are probably looking for some to fill your overstable approach needs. It does just that. It is a great approach disc for me, be it hyzer shots or flex shots. The champion glow plastic is actually very grippy and gummy feeling. It is a thicker rimmed disc, but still feels good in hand. This would be a frustrating disc for beginners I would think, as there is not much distance potential in this disc.

How can you not love a gator?  Eat up those headwinds and stick those landings with the slide and grace of a gator coming ashore... which is very little.  This thing hyzers all day, and drops like a brick - it'ss great for flex approach shots that you need to keep low.  It's a utility disc for sure, but one I find myself reaching for at least 4-5 times a round.

Also doubles as a putter for those extremely windy days.

Give new players a gator as their approach disc of 70-100 feet at they will fall in love.
