    XT Details

Innova's XT material is a midgrade plastic that feels similar to DX, but that is substantially more durable. This is a tough grippy blend that is popular for putters and midrange discs.

    XT 175g

As someone who transitioned to DG from Ultimate, the Dart is a great starting point. It's domed shape and relatively deeper rim make it feel a little less foreign in my hand.  It can be used for beginner one-disc rounds, or can find a home in the more experienced bag.

I do not putt with it, but is one of my primary approach discs. It's neutral stability holds whichever line I put it on - my favorite line being STRAIGHT. I use it for uphill approaches where I need a little more glide and a sticky landing to keep it close to the basket. XT plastic feels awesome, especially for someone playing in warmer, humid climates.

ONLY con is that it's a little flippier than expected when putting power into it. I have to focus on not over-throwing this disc or it will turn over quite a bit.

Didn't like it. In XT plastic, mine is ridiculously domey. I can't get a good grip on it for forehands, and have trouble getting comfortable with it for backhands. I'm not sure about it in other plastics, but I don't recommend it in XT.

I've used the dart for 3 years, and it has never let me down. This putter is the straightest flying disc golf disc I have ever used! I switched to the Dart because I was getting annoyed that my putters would fade away from the basket at the end of their flight. The lack of bead makes this a great putting putter as well as sidearm approach putter. The speed three is also great if your putt doesn't have a lot of distance behind it like mine.

I tried the XT plastic, but in XT the disc feels like it flies faster than the other plastics. This makes it harder to get a feel for the distance. Also the stiffness makes it more likely to bounce farther away from the pin. Nevertheless, the dart is one of my favorite discs in the bag and my game wouldn't be the same without it.
