Initial Post
I had this disc in the R-Pro before losing it in the water after a quick gust of wind that came up from nowhere. I have yet to replace it due to having to order it, which I plan to soon. This disc flew straight for a mile. I would say, in my humble opinion, it has greater Glide than listed. I have other discs with a 4 rating and none come close to this disc. No fade even after being beaten in by several rounds. Truest flying disc I have ever owned that struck the chains dead on. Still sad I lost this disc.

Well, I got another R Pro Dart (172g) and am even more pleased than before, and I will explain why.
When I initially started playing I had an R Pro Dart, a DX Shark, and a DX Beast. I lost the Beast and Dart to water after maybe a month of throwing discs. I maxed out the distance (at that time) for the Dart around 175’. Straight flight and little Fade at the end, for the majority of throws. I used it as a putter and approach disc for all shots and tees, and had good success with it. It was also able to show me when and where I was throwing wrong too. Then, I lost it to water.
Now, after two to three more months of practice under my belt I have another R Pro Dart and I am just as happy as before. I do not use it near any trees or hard obstacles due to it having 0 Fade now, but it is deadly around the pin for sure. If I can see the basket I can land within feet of it from anywhere in the range of 75’, no matter the way I throw it. Slight hyzer to fall in around a tree? Easy. Little anhyzer to get around a mando for the park up after an errant throw? No problem. Tunnel with slight left fall around 100’? The Dart sticks the landing for a drop in.
Also after a few extra months of experience, I can easily toss the Dart out to 225’ from a standstill using only my arm, and just as straight as before. If I take my driving X Step and half it, the Dart goes easily 260’+, but I will admittingly say it is not as consistent due to the 3 Speed of this disc. It is easy for me to throw it too hard and turn it over and burn it. Finesse is the key, and the more I perfect my form the Dart flies out just that much farther.
Also, and though I will rank this disc as Very Beginner Friendly, it is a disc that will show you your faults and weaknesses in your form, which is why I say it is beginner friendly. Yes, as a rule it will fight to stay straight, but it will dump fade left (RHBH) or burn right (RHBH) when thrown badly. Also, if the nose of the disc is up just a tad, it will take flight upwards robbing you of accuracy and distance fairy quick. Again, it will show your faults fairly well, which is a reason I like it besides of how it flies and reacts to my throwing style. To add, since this disc has 0 Turn and 0 Fade, it allows me to work on my flex shots and my hyzer/anhyzer shots showing me how far I turned or faded the disc right or left (RHBH). For me, a very good teaching disc.
