I use this disc for both a driving putter and a putting putter. I have thrown it about 150 feet, dead straight, and it does not fade much at all at the end of the flight. It also makes a good putters and I prefer it over the other putters I have tried such as the Aviar, Nova, and Aviar3. It deserves 5 stars because of how straight it flies.

4 stars because it flies true. Taking one off because I didn't like it lol.

The Dart is sooo glidey for a putter. In a vaccuum, maybe I would like it. On a windy course, I struggle to find times to break it out.

This being said, a buddy of mine tried it out and bought it from me after two holes with it. He LOVES this thing.

Excellent point and shoot putter. My go to disc for an open basket for an ace run. I throw it flat just a little off to the right and it goes straight and fades in quite reliably. Would absolutley reccomend as an approach disc.

The Innova Dart is a straight, stable putter that is best used as an approach disc, or spin putts from distance. Arguably one of the best throwing putters for new players to train themselves on. Here is my video review of it, covering DX, R-Pro, and XT plastics, with plenty of example long distance putts and short range throws.

The dart is my go to putter to use. I am a new player, only having played for 8 months, but I've found the dart to be the best. I've used the Avion, and Zone as well but would recommend the dart for all beginners to intermediate players.

I got a Dart a few months ago, and I really wanted to like it. Unfortunately, it doesn’t really feel right for me to putt with, and I eventually went to a beaded putter (Aviar Yeti). When I tried throwing it, it definitely had noticeable fade at the end of its flight. It is also fairly deep with some dome. I used it sparingly, preferring instead to use my Zero Hard Gauntlet or my 350G PA-3 for putter shots, mainly because they were flatter and more firm. Overall, a fine disc, but nothing too special about it.

I really wanted to like this disc, but just couldn't.  The grip on this disc just doesn't fit my hand and I don't like it as much as others I have tried.  I realize that personal preference is the primary factor in selecting a putter and this one just doesn't fit me.

The Dart is my do-it-all Mid and Putt disc. It throws pretty dang straight, and fairly similar to an ultimate disc. For straight shots you want to throw like an ultimate disc, the dart is the perfect.

I like this disc but wanted to love it. I have a 154g which may contribute to some of these concerns.

    • Putts very straight and goes forever with minimal power
      • I do not think this is beginner friendly, since if you miss your line you will have another shot from about the same distance or more. A putter with less glide is probably better
    • Turns over very easily with power
      • I have to hyzer flip this to drive it which I would not consider beginner friendly
      • If it turns over, I always get a roller that adds some good distance.

Overall a fun disc to have but because it is technically difficult to use, I find myself reaching for other discs.

This bad boy is freaking awesome. I can use this thing for literally any approach shot, as it'll hold pretty much any line you put it on. It flies straight as an arrow when you want it to, and its a go-to of mine in any sort of tight throw situation. This is the first disc I give to any of my beginner friends when they play with me, so I always keep a few with me in the car etc. It has a high dome and is very predictable out of the hand, so newbies love it. I would strongly recommend the Dart for anyone who plays at all, pro or just starting.

SOME DISCS ARENT MADE TO BE THROWN HARD.  I'm sure this is one.

I have both a DX and a G-Star Dart max weight.  I don't use it as a putter, but as a short approach disc.  This disc flies dead nuts straight. It'll also fly on whatever angle you put it on, but I use it for straight or slight anhyzer short approach shots..

Somebody found the G Star Dart and gave it to me. I never threw one before, but it's in my bag for good.  It's very useful in tight situations

The flight numbers are accurate, but I find it's a tad faster than a 3 speed.

I found an old un-inked DX dart on a hillside a few years back, threw it once and placed it in my backup pile to be forgotten about. It found its way into my bag somehow and this is now my celebrity appearance disc for those long bids. Does it go in most of the time? Nah. But it is pretty reliable for good, predictable upshots and not overshooting the basket. I am going to pick up another dart in star plastic as I feel this could be a great driving putter and I really like the feel in the hand.

All in all a fun disc that will prove itself to you under the right circumstances. All skill levels should have a slot the dart can fill in their bag.

The Dart is a very neutral flying putter, that throws more like a midrange. I was really able to put this disc on any line without putting much power behind it. It really seemed to glide well for me too. This disc does have some dome, so if you like flatter discs, this is one to avoid.

The dome-like shape of this disc helps give it that extra glide, and boy does it have a ton. Even for a putter, I think the 4 rating for glide is a little low. The softer plastic will allow for some softer landings, and is such a very beginner friendly disc. But, if you have a bigger hand size, this disc may not be for you.The dome may not be comfortable or give you a consistent release that you're looking for. All in all, the moral of the story is this approach disc will literally fly for days.

When I began playing disc golf the VERY first putter given to me by my friend to start off was a DX Dart. I remember not knowing any different at the time, honestly, I figured all putters were the same in the disc golf world. I remember I wasn't the greatest at first, but my friend who was an intermediate player was surprised by how many putts I would make. I count some of it to beginners luck, but I do believe a good reason why I was so good at putting was because of the Dart. I would recommend this to anyone starting off, and as an ole' reliable in every person's bag. I still carry my dart and love getting the chance to use it. Great disc with great flight and drift!

The Innova dart is the best straight flying disc on the market. Contrary to the flight numbers, the dart will not turn over with power. This disc maxes out for me personally on a straight line at ~300 feet.

Very great disc for beginners. This was my first putter, and with its dome-like top, it was perfect. I no longer use it as my primary driver (I use the Innova Aviar, another fantastic putter), but I keep it in my bag for its versatility. I mostly use it for short midrange shots now due to its glide, but it is also perfect for putting. I love this disc and recommend it to anyone.

I have a DX and Bought a Metal Flake Champion because I loved the DX so much.  This is my secret weapon disc. This disc gets me 70 to 40 foot birdie shots all day.  People wont bet against me anymore because of this disc.  Very underrated disc I feel.  I picked my DX up because it was different feeling than a aviar or colt (only options at the store i was at the time) and i had never heard of one at the time. Its "sodomey" that makes it glide for me right into the chains. I beat my DX to death so i got the metal flake champ.  I dont tell anyone what it is or let them throw it lest they steal it from me.  If you have money riding on your putts, get a dart and start bringing home the bacon.

DX in the 170s. I liked this putter, but I used it before I got serious, so I just wasn't a consistent putter yet. I will say it was the most consistent putter that I had before I practiced a lot and I definitely trusted it more than any other putter I'd previously owned. It's a good driving putter too. Unfortunately, it was a little too good on one hole and I overthrew it off the top of the basket into a lake and couldn't find it. I use XT colts for putting now and love them, but I'm definitely curious how this disc would perform if I got a new one, which I can't say about many putters I've previously owned.

This is an excellent multi-purpose disc for any beginner -- It is easy to control, and allows a new player to become familar with basic disc mechanics. Highly reccomended for all of you new players out there; great for putting and mids on lower skill level courses.

I hated this disc. The liked how it feels like it grabs, that's why I got it. However I couldn't get used to the edge profile, just didn't like it. It doesn't actually grab very well, I had several chain outs with this disc. It might be good as a practice disc, since if you screw up your release in the slightest this disc will make you pay.

I have this in DX. Huge dome to the top (for a disc). Took me a little bit to feel comfortable with it but it does have a straight throw. You might be tempted to use it for a drive on a short hole or two but I find it's too easy to turn over when you give it a hard throw.

This disc flies straight and flies far for a putter. If you are just starting out, and don't want to put the money in for a full set, consider using the Dart for your putter and your mid-range. I've never been able to make this disc follow an alternate line. Can't get a good hyzer or anny out of it to get around trees or anything. I've only used it a few rounds when a friend let me borrow it, and having a midrange of my own, I don't think this is the putter for me, but for someone starting out, this disc is a good way to save some money.

I just can't throw it. My only DX plastic disc, and it never does what I want. I'd definitely suggest and Aviar over this. I stopped using this a week after I got it. It's basically a smaller ultimate discs. If you can throw those, then it might work out for you.
