As my bag has changed over time, the Archon has stuck around. When I was throwing Wraiths as my main driver it fit in as the flippiest option with similar hand feel. Now that I'm thowing Emperors, it has stuck around as an option for turnover lines that I don't want to fade out. The flight of my 169g Archon is so buttery. It just endlessly drifts to the right on RHBH and I can get it out to 425+ if I hit it hard with hyzer.

The plateau rim from the vulcan top piece of the mold doesn't bother me at all, but my Archon is slightly domey. I have felt flatter topped Archons that I didn't like as much because the plateau felt more pronounced.
