The I-Blend Roman is a lightweight, semi-flexible option that tends to beat in faster than premium plastics. Its straighter flight makes it more accessible to intermediate arms.

Got a Roman from a tournament and I'm glad I gave it a shot. I average in the low to mid 300 of max distance. This thing flies like I wanted a firebird/raptor to fly. It flies very straight with a hard, pushing fade. It doesn't dump like other overstable discs I've thrown. If it beats in too much or I start throwing harder I'll likely get an S blend to compliment it.

On a whim i picked up two of these Romans in the I-blend plastic from the used bin at the local shop. It fits right between my Halo Aztec and new C-blend PD. Does not have the glide of the Aztec but has more glide than the PD. I ordered two more in Halo and Metalflake Glow to compare further.

I have 2 I-Blend Romans. Both 170-172. They are lovely. I have one in the bag at all times. Brand new this disc was slightly less OS than the new C-Line PDs. Now after a few months of use I've got one that flies like how every pro gets a PD to fly. It is straight with slight drift to the right rhbh and then predictable forward pushing fade. I'm throwing this disc 330-350 on backhand and 300-330 on forehand. It's my favorite disc to forehand right now. Just goes so straight and then fades. It has a great glide for its level of torque resistance. It is also more comfortable to me than a thunderbird. Definitely my best disc purchase this year.

Nice and stable (it's a PD). So glad this mold is readily available again and an infinite mold at that. Interesting that the underside of the plate this disc has the mold name "RONIN" debossed in it and not "Roman". Other than that everything you want in an overstable control driver.
