    C-Blend Glow Details

This is a glow-in-the-dark version of C-Blend plastic, which is the equivalent of Innova's Champion plastic. It is a semi-transparent, durable plastic that provides outstanding performance and long life. The Glow C-Blend can be either colored or traditional white glow and often feels slightly more gummy than typical C-Blend plastic.

The roman is my most used driver. The glow c-blend have a consistant finish but are not super overrstable like a scepter/firebird type disc. Because of the stability and speed of this disc I can trust it to be not only accurate but go a good distance as well.

The Roman is the power driver you've been missing. This is a disc that feels great in both the sidearm and backhand grips and flies just as well in either shot shape. If you've got 350' or more feet of power, this disc will provide great placement shots into mild to heavy headwinds. The Roman is stable but doesn't dump out unless stalled or severely nose up. C-Blend Glow plastic certainly helps to create a disc that has a little bit more turn than other options. Intermediate to professional players will find this disc regularly competing for a slot in their bag.

I had never thrown a PD before and decided to try out the Roman, since it is the PD mold but available in a variety of Infinite Discs plastics.  I picked up the C-Blend Glow and have been really enjoying throwing it.  I was expecting a more overstable flight based on the flight numbers, but in this C Blend Glow plastic the Roman has more of a laser-straight flight, with lots of glide and a moderate amount of fade.  This is disc is not overstable enough to fight out of flex lines when I throw it hard on anhyzer, but instead will hold the line for a long time and get a lot of distance.  There are a lot of courses where I don't quite need a 12 speed driver, so I tend to lean on this disc a lot when I need a shot with good distance and control.  I was surprised by the glide on this disc, it seems a little longer than some other 9 speeds I own like Thunderbirds.

The one negative for me is that I was looking for a disc with just a little more over stability, so I may need to try out some other plastics to find a more stable Roman.

I have picked up 3 Romans since their release and they have been a great addition to my control driver of choice - the Innova Orc. They are consistently more overstable but they retain the ability to fly dead straight. Roman/PDs are unique discs because they fly straight dead straight like a Tee-bird for 80% of the flight and then fade really hard at the end. Like a Tee-bird/Firebird combo that actually works unlike the Thunderbird which is either straight OR very stable.

The nose of the Roman is very sharp and you can tell it's a fast disc (still not a 10 speed) and it has a slightly deeper rim which I like. In my experience they fly faster and glide much more than comparable 9 speeds (Thunderbird, Sexton Firebird, Lat 64 Honor). Most similar to an MVP Tesla.

    The I-blend and Halo fly similar like a 9 5 0 3 and the Glow C Blend flies like 9 5 0 2. I bag the halo and glow.

    Disc: 175g C-Blend Glow Roman

Feel: The Roman "feels" like a PD, which if you have not thrown uses the Firebird/Thunderbird bottom and Annhyzer top. I love the bottom rim, but do not like the Annhyzer top feel as it comes down to a thin nose and feels sharp in the hand on backhand and especially forehand.

Flight: My typical 9 speed distance is between 280 and 320 feet. My rated flight numbers: 9/4.5/0/2.5. I am still confused why they kept the "10" speed when it is truly a 9 speed rim and flight. For me it flies almost idental to a Thunderbird with a bit less glide. The I-Blend got a tiny bit of turn for me, while the C-Blend Glow and Halo S-Blend were pretty close to 0 turn and 2.5 fade. The distance fell in my 9 Speed typical range of about 300 feet.

Overall: If you are a PD lover, this is for you. My personal opinion is the Thunderbird is better feeling and flying and I don't see the hype. Giving it a 10 speed rating bugs me more than it should, I really wish Infinite got the Starfire mold which is an absolutely perfect overstable 10 speed and completely flies like its numbers at 10/4/0/3

Great addition to the Infinite lineup! What I like about the new runs is that they aren't as out-of-the-box overstable like most PDs, making for a very versatile disc. I can't wait for the halo's to come out to compliment!
