I bought this disc in halo S-blend to be an over stable 10 speed. My thought was that the halo plastic would be more over stable and I could keep it as a longer raptor/felon/firebird utility type disc. This is not the case. This disc is less stable in my experience than the numbers imply. Just to be clear, the Roman isn't understable.

The feel of the plastic in my hands and the mold are great. Instead of being a utility disc that I throw forehand, it is a great fairway driver in windy conditions that I've predominantly thrown on backhand. I do get a little turn out of this disc. The fade seems to push towards the basket. I would compare the flight(not the feel of the mold), to a faster/further flying DGA Banzai. The feel of the halo S-blend plastic is so comfortable.

I think this could be a really great over stable distance driver for a beginner. This is a really fun disc to throw for a great price.

Overall this is an awesome disc. Since this is essentially or directly a PD it is by no means a 10-speed but like the Thunderbird seems faster than a 9-speed from its design, flight and power requirements. I wish it was more like the Pdx with a legit 10 or 11-speed rim, this thing just begs for a bit more speed!

Very straight flight for a good 2/3rds of the flight and a decent fade at the end. The fade is neither pushing nor dump crashing, right in the middle. Excellent Control Driver for moderate wind, panning anhyzers, accurate hyzers, and flex shots.

    My Stability ratings by Plastic:
    Halo S-Blend (9.5 / 5 / 0 / 3 @ 375ft Power)

    • Definitely the most stable run thus far. PLH is higher than the Swirly S run and is more domey.

    Glow C-Blend (9.5 / 4 / 0 / 2.75 @ 375ft Power)

    • Slightly less stable than the Halo, barely noticeable. PLH is higher than the GS Swirly S run and the flattest run yet. Best for forehands IMO. Seems like the least Glide of all runs.

    I-Blend (9.5 / 4.5 / -0.5 / 3 @ 375ft Power)

    • Was actually more stable than the Glow C-Blend brand new, out-of-the-box, but after little use, it is closer to a stable Dynasty, and by far the least stable Roman once broken in and the least time to break in.

    Swirly S-Blend (9.5 / 4.5 / -0.5 / 2.5 @ 375ft Power)

    • The least stable run when brand new IMO. Will flip a bit and has less fade too.

The Halo Roman has fit well in my bag between my DD Felon and my Infinite Dynasty. It can withstand a head wind, but is also a great disc to use on a calm day with different angles. It has slowly become my go to disc. Definitely not a good disc to start out with if you are just beginning to play.

I love the Halo S-Blend Roman. It fits nicely into my bag between my Dynamic Discs Lucid Felon and my Infinite Signayure Switly S-Blend Dynasty. Stability allows for hyzer shots down the fairway and is able to stand up to a stiff headwind. Put some anhyzer on it and it becomes a very workable discs for different types of shots. It's become one of my go to discs when I need to finish to the left.

Really liking the Halo S-Blend Roman in my overstable fairway driver slot.  It has the stability to stand up to a stiff headwind, while having the glide to get down the fairway.  Beginners may find this one too overstable, but intermediate and advanced players will find the Roman to be a reliable addition to the bag.

Lost the I blend one I bought first but the Halo have a bit of dome and excellent grip. Broke 400ft on the course with it. Was just barely behind my drivers when I threw both on a hole. So great
