I like shallow discs but this is almost too shallow, there's isn't much of an inner rim to hang onto. I would say fly the flight matched the numbers until it hit a couple trees, which quickly warped it and now it's pretty useless. In S-line or C-line plastic this may be more useful, but in I-blend if you're hitting trees with any speed its life will be short. Pretty sure this is the Innova Mirage, the disc dimensions match exactly and the profile looks looks the same to me.

I bought this in hope it could replace my wombat3. Unfortunately, it is far too shallow for my hand and I had issues with my angle control as a result.   If you are used to deeper discs, this is not the disc for you.if you are looking for a shallower understable mid range, it is definitely worth looking in to.

Very understable disc that works well in the approach slot of your bag.  You can hyzer flip it fairly easily and it works as a short-distance roller.  Moderate to low power throws produce arrow straight flights with a soft landing.  This disc really shines for all understable approach needs.  Anhyzer shots hold the line throughout its flight, which can be helpful for scrambling and/or playing wooded courses.  Everyone needs something for those finesse shots and this disc could serve that role very well.   I will not be bagging the Kon Tiki right now, but will if I ever lose my prized star Stingray.

This disc is extremely understable. For me it is less of a midrange and more of an approach disc. When thrown at flat or a slight hyzer with full power it immediately flips and rolls, but when thrown lightly in tough areas it will reliably flip up to flat or turn over and glide to where you need without fading out. Definitely a great disc for beginners or a utility approach disc for tricky recovery approach shots.

If you are looking for a good under stable midrange this is the disc for you. When thrown with less power it will hold a straight line with some turn. When thrown with power you can get it to hyzer flip to roller or flip to flat and glide to the right.

You want understable out of the box? Ya this is it. Cheap and replaceable this disc is fantastic for super tight woods golf where you NEED a hyzer flip because trust this thing gonna. Pretty shallow and smaller rimmed but not a problem for someone with big hands like me anyways.

Really fun to throw understable mid-range.  There aren't a lot of truely understable mids out there, but this is one of them!  Thrown flat and low power (RHBH) will drift right the entire flight.  If you want it to go straight or left you need to put A LOT of hyzer on it.  It will take some time to truly learn this disc, but you can get some amazing shot shapes out of it if you work at it.  A beginner with a low arm speed should get some easy mid-range distance out of this.  For intermediate and advanced players this disc can create some really cool and unique shot shapes if you have the touch.  Definitely worth picking up!

The Kon Tiki is one of those discs you throw once, say "Wow!", and immediately slot into your bag.  In my opinion, an extremely understable midrange is truly a must-have for any player, and the Kon Tiki fits that spot perfectly.

What I love about this disc is that it can be used for all kinds of midrange shots.  Easy hyzer-flips, gentle turnovers, clean anhyzer approaches, straight tunnel shots, even backhand and forehand rollers!  The turn is so extreme that once you get used to it, you can shape shots and hit lines that you never would have thought of before.  It definitely requires some practice and touch, but once you get those flight paths memorized, it is a consistent disc that you will use multiple times each round.

You do need to be mindful of the power you put behind this disc... the 4 Speed rating is very accurate, and while you can put some power behind it on a hyzer release for some shots, this disc WILL "turn and burn" if you really throw it hard.  It's a 4 Speed midrange though, so as long as you're throwing it as intended, you can do amazing things with it!

If you have been disc golfing for any length of time, you will know that a very overstable midrange is a staple for most players.  The Kon Tiki has opened my eyes to the necessity for a very understable counterpart, and I would recommend it to all players looking to build a complete and balanced bag.

gotta say this is a flip disc straight out of the box it came in. This well flip out of almost and release,, and is a fast easy roller if you need one.. the rim is shallow and has a small bead on it, reminds me of a shallow manta/ beaded stingray or even a shallow wedge by innova.. its not a bad disc I personally would like to see it a little deeper in order to truly grimp and rip it better..

This most likely we'll find a place in my bag after I practice with it some more..
