The Metal Flake C-Blend Kon Tiki adds eye-catching sparkle and a slightly stiffer feel to this finesse midrange. It’s durable and better suited for controlled tee shots or forehand touch lines where more torque resistance is needed.

    Metal Flake C-Blend Details

Metal Flake C-Blend is the same durability and make up as C-Blend Plastic (comparable to Innova Champion), but Metal Flake has sparkle flakes inside the plastic. This makes the plastic not only durable and long-lasting, but also adds more cosmetic appeal with extra sparkle. Some players feel like Metal Flake adds just a touch more stability to the disc.

If you like shallow beaded putters and need something understable for finesse approach shots around the basket, this is the one.

If you're newer and want a mid that doesn't require a ton of power to get full flights out of, this is a great option.

If you have small hands and prefer a shallow rim with small diameter, you could do anything from putt to drive with these.

If your forehand approach game is nonexistent like mine and you want something that will go right on command, it's well worth a shot.

They are very flippy if given any power, but that's what makes them great as well. You can get crazy lines with hyzer flips or turn around a corner with a flick of the wrist. It may be a staple or a utility disc, but there are plenty of reasons to bag a Kon Tiki. I really like the metal flake runs as a perfect understable approach disc.

Absolutely love this disc and highly recommend it for any player. I regularly rotate the molds in my bag, but the kon tiki has been a staple for my approach game. Overall, I prefer more shallow discs and the tiki's depth along with small diameter make it feel more akin to a putter than a mid and the slim profile makes it excellent for sidearm approach shots and sticky situations in the woods. I've lost count of how many times I've been within 100' of the basket, directly behind a tree/object with no clear line, and managed to find chains with an anny flick.

This is a great beginner disc in any plastic.

This is a great intermediate/advanced disc in premium plastic, especially for woods golf. This disc can be hyzerflipped to flat from a 45° (or more) hyzer. It has great glide. I often throw this disc for tunnel shots. I can throw this disc on a steep hyzer to make it easier to hit gaps. Additonally, because of the great glide it will go far even when throw smooth and easy. If thrown flat it will most likely turn over. Trust the hyzer flip and get some turn 200 feet down the fairway. This is also my go to disc for patent pending shots.

The thin profile and small rim will not be comfortable for many, but if you can find a comfortable grip this disc can be a cheat code for woods golf.

Buy max weight in the most "stable" premium plastic you can find. I prefer metal flake c-blend. I need to try the metal flake glow c-blend if they are ever back in stock.

This is a very understable midrange that is great for beginners and experienced players as well.

Feel is shallow and has a fairly domey top. Plastic is medium flex, good grip. I like it.

Flight wise if you throw even 300 feet this disc will turn over easily for you. I consider it more of a specialty utility type of disc. I max out at 400 feet but shots for this disc will never be more then 275 feet. Throw it on the amount of height and hyzer needed to hit the desired line. Hyzer to straight. Hyzer to turnover. Patent pending need a soft turnover? Got it.

It's not a disc I need or shot I need often but it is a useful disc when you need that very understable but glidey flight.

The Kon Tiki is a great disc for me.  I love powering it down, and still watching it flip to flat and slowly drift to the right.  This disc is extremely understable, so I have to make sure that I don't try to overpower it or if I do throw it hard give it plenty of height so that it has time to slow down before just burning into the ground.  This disc would be an amazing disc for beginners or for more advanced players that want to be able to finesse a shot that will still drift right.  The hand feel isn't for everyone, so you will either love or hate this disc, but if the hand feel doesn't bother you this disc will be a great addition to your bag.
