The Warlock is the beadless (no bump around the bottom rim) version of the popular Wizard putt and approach disc. This is a neutral-flying putter that is slightly more understable than the Wizard. The Warlock is both a great driving and putting putter available in a variety of popular Gateway plastic blends.

I love the Warlock. I find it extremely comfortable in the hand, like a beadless Wizard. I throw it around 200', and it's a great stability. Stable enough to never turn over, but not over stable like a zone. It's also a great putter.

Gateway plastics are no joke as well. I've tried the Warlock in SSS, SSSS, and lunar and they all feel great. The variety of putter plastics is so cool for a company known for its putters. Check one out!

After thinking the Aviar was a bit too stiff / not grippy enough I transfered over to the SSS Warlock. Love that it's beadless, love the feel of the plastic. It does break in perhaps a little quicker than a harder plastic, but not too much at all.

I am back to buy a few Hemp SSS just in case I like the feel a bit better, plus I need more putters for practice.

    Would recommend.

For years this has been my primary putter but after needing to replace my last one and playing a whole lot more I started looking into new options. The disc is great for aiming the shot and putting into the chains, however it doesn't really stick in the chains as much as it sticks in your hand. The grip and texture literally can't be beat for the stupid super soft plastic, but that only applies to the texture on this disc, its still very rigid and bounces out at least 3 shots a round (of 18), and I have lost games due to chaining out 1 too many times. So although I love the disc for the feel and the accuracy, I simply can't get over the strokes I lose to the chain outs as well, it also lightly  damages really easily. I've had this new putter for about a month now and it still works, although the day I got it I did some putting practice with it and it got nicked and dinged up from just hitting the basket and continues to do so. I feel that maybe in eraser plastic this disc could be perfect,  but I cannot yet confirm that. If you are also better at putting than I am and can putt softly or hit the bottom part of the pole in the chains, you probably will have no issues, but if your like me and throw with a bit of power to keep the disc straight and usually hit middle chains or middle of the side chains, it will hit then get pushed straight out of the basket.

I have been trying out a bunch of different putters, trying to land on just one to use. I gave up on the KC pro aviar, had some issues with the Pure, etc., I absolutely love the Warlock. I do not love it off the tee, but I think I have found my steady putter. What I love about it is that it always flies the same way, it doesn't matter the wind. Once I figured this out, I can just throw it on the line. It also is great once it hits the chains. My issue with the soft Pure was that it bounced out of the basket and off the chains more than any putter I've tried. The Warlock has yet to bounce out once it hit! If you are looking for a great putting putter, this is great!

Gateway makes some phenomenal gummy plastic. This putter is slightly more stable than the magic or wizard making it great if you spin putt or have a hybrid spin/push putt. It's beadless so nothing hits your pointer finger as you release. I've used this putter for close to 5 years and I haven't found anything that feels as good and putts as straight as this.

I started putting with Aviars, then Voodoo.  I then really started liking DD, so I figured I should try the Judge.  I was getting consistent results, but didn't like the bead, so I switched to the Warden.  I fell in LOVE with the Warden.  It is still my putting putter and my main thrower. BUT, I love Gateway's plastic blends and I discovered the Warlock.  I ordered one and found compared it to my Classic Soft Wardens.  The feel is VERY similar.  I still need to test out the Warlock some more and play some rounds with it, but if you love Gateway plastic and want something comparable to the Warden or Aviar, go for it!

I throw a slight annie putt and this disc flies perfect for that style of throw.  The Super Stupid Soft plastic is grippy and feels great for a putter.

My favorite putter. I started with a beaded putter and then found that beadless feels much more comfortable in my hand, and that has led to better control. Great grip.

Have the SSS Warlock and what a great feeling putter, grippy with a little bit of flop. Real nice glide with a predictable fade making it fairly stable. Glad I have it in the bag.

Two things to know about the SSS Warlock. 1) If it hits chains it's in. 2) If it misses/hits the basket/hits a tree it stops. I will not throw any other disc from within 50ft and I've floated in a ridiculous number long putts without having to worry about blowing through or skipping along if I miss. This disc flies truer and truer as you beat to a pulp. It started a brilliant bright blue and now is the color of sap+dirt+grass+love+hard work (still mostly blue though).
