The Warlock is the beadless (no bump around the bottom rim) version of the popular Wizard putt and approach disc. This is a neutral-flying putter that is slightly more understable than the Wizard. The Warlock is both a great driving and putting putter available in a variety of popular Gateway plastic blends.

-reviewing in pure white plastic- this putter is a little on the deeper side, has moderate to low glide, and an overstable finish compared to most beadless slow putters. It catches chains very nicely as most deeper putters do. The pure white plastic is excellent for a firm grippy plastic. My only issues with it are that gateway imprints their stamps on the middle of the bottom quite thick and large and I could not grip the putter without feeling the bumps from the stamp, which wasn't an absolute deal breaker but it is definitely unusual. Also this putter just doesn't have quite enough glide for me, but if you are looking for a nice wind fighting beadless putter this is a good option...

Had to update the review after putting with it this winter. They call it a beadless Wizard, but the noses of these discs are a little different. At least the ones I have. But they are both great discs. I love both, but the Warlock just felt better.

I have tried the SS, SSS, and Pure White, and the Pure White is my favorite except in cold weather.. All of them are very firm, but the PW is probably the firmest. I had to drop a star because after putting with it this winter, because I found the grip to be lacking in cold weather and became pretty slippery. But if you love super firm putters, this may be worth a shot. It is an excellent putter. If it wasn't for the lack of grip in cold weather, the PW Warlock would get 5 stars. The SSS Warlock is slightly better grip in the cold..

With Gateway, soft doesn't have to do with the firmness, but instead with the feel of the plastic. The SS and SSS are both very firm, but the SSS  is softer feeling plastic.

I don't use it for anything but putting, so can't say how it drives or throws on approach shots. I use it strictly for putting. It flies straight with nice glide and sticks ot the chains. It's understable so it holds the straight line for a while. The Warlock has a flat top and depth is very much like an Aviar or P2.

    Upshot Perfection!

This PWP plastic is a whole new level of upshot perfection!!!  It holds any line you put it on.  The plastic is very firm but grippy.

From 100-250 feet out, this is your go to approach for any shot that doesn't require a skip fade like an Anvil or Zone

Comparable to a Galactic Aviar with better grip
