The Diablo is your typical 9 speed, overstable fairway. It has a great hand feel, and flies like a good Mcbeth Thunderbird from back in the day. Definitely a good pickup

Like the other reviewer said, basically just a Thunderbird in better plastic

It's basically Gateway's Thunderbird but in a better plastic (Evo Diamond).

The Diamond Diablo is on the faster side for a fairway driver or the slower end for a distance driver.  I would liken its flight to that of Champion Thunderbird.  Out of the box it has a straight flight with a predictable finish.  The Diamond Diablo will cover a multitude of shots and could vary easily be one of those molds that you can carry in various stages of wear in order to cover your fairway drives.

For a beginner(300 ft max distance), this disc will probably fly fairly overstable for you out of the box.  It could easily be your primary wind fighting fairway driver.  For an intermediate level player(375 ft max distance), this disc will probably fly pretty straight with a reliable hyzer finish.  For the people that are tossing over 375 ft for max distance, this could easily be your favorite fairway driver.  Like I've stated, it's ability to cover a multitude of shots over a varying amount of power really makes this disc a workhorse mold.

The Diamond Diablo can hold its own again the likes of a Thunderbird, Teebird, Eagle-X, Undertaker, etc.  Definitely a worth while disc to checkout.

** If you pick one of these up and there's a bit of flashing on the rim and you decide to remove it expect the flight numbers to change quite a bit.  I've found that the disc will fly more like 9,5,-1.5,+1 **
