The Suspect is a unique, versatile disc in the Dynamic Discs line. This is a relatively slow midrange with a small diameter. It is thin for a midrange, with a height of just 1.6cm. The Suspect is very overstable and should be great for powerful throwers and windy days. Dynamic Discs says that this disc has the best characteristics of putters and midrange discs. It’s an all-purpose mid that fits in the “tweener” slot in your bag. The Suspect was PDGA approved on March 8th, 2013. It is available in DD’s quality Clasic Blend, Lucid, and Fuzion plastic in the Eric McCabe series.

Disc - 174 Fuzion Burst Suspect

Feel - This disc has a great feel in the hand as it is very flat topped and decently shallow. It feels great for forehands and backhands alike and fits very comfortably in most hand sizes.

Flight - The Suspect is not as overstable as advertised. It is overstable when thrown with medium power, but when thrown with full power will show a tiny bit of turn and then have a soft finish at the end.

Overall - I found this disc without a name or number on it and I was already in the market for an overstable putter/mid hybrid and was hoping that this would fill that slot. Although it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, it is a great disc to have in the bag for woods shots and up shots that you need to go straight and then have a bit on finish. I would recommend this disc to many players but do not expect to get a zone/harp/pig type of flight from it.

I picked up a suspect as a recommendation from a friend. I used to bag harp, but always felt it was a tad more deep than I liked. He recommended the suspect cause of the shallower feel. Soon as I held one I loved it, loved it even more when I got out throwing it.

For backhands it holds the line you put it on then has a reliable fade at the end of the flight. And for forehands it does the same. I trust when I throw it, it will do this every time. I also used to bag a justice but felt the suspect had a little more control for me since it has that reliable fade but not the crazy hard fade the justice has

I originally got this disc for a 2 disc challenge with the idea that I could putt with this but also use it for driving on a few of my local course shorter holes around 300 feet.  I was so off on my hopes for this disc but I have found a great use for it anyway.

First off this thing is a brick, there is not much glide in this disc, but there is also not a lot of fade or dump off.  I was envisioning a disc, slightly less stable than my Justice.  I was very wrong, it has fade, but it isn't sharp.  It just doesn't like to stay in the air.  So I have a very hard time getting it out much past 200-250 feet without just putting way too much power into it, which led me to it's strengths.  For those approach shots that are that in between range of too long for a jump putt, but too short for a full throw, I find myself grabbing the Suspect. This isn't a disc that will blow past a basket like I was finding my eMac Truth was doing on those particular shots.  I also use it for the very short holes, around 200 feet.  It's like discing up, without really discing up.  I can throw this with a normal motion and still get the desired results.  I don't have to worry about "baby-ing" it and getting a poor release.

This is definitely a utility disc, but when you need it, it's great to have!

Relatively straight flight path with a decent fade. Glide is not too strong so the disc likes to get out of the air quick, allowing for an easy to place shot. Love this disc for shots within 250-300, and for tight forehands.
