Technically I never bought an escape, but found one in the woods with no name or number on it. It looked to have been there quite a while. I figured it was going to be super flippy based on past experiences with beat in prime discs. I was happily proven wrong. The escape flew dead straight with a very small finish. I liked it so much it found a spot in my bag even though it was in rough shape. I can't speak on how it flew new, but it's definitely a fairway finder once it's seasoned.

I got a couple of these inexpensively to make starter sets for friends, and after testing them out a bit first, was really happy with how they flew for me -- enough so, that I decided to get one myself, although at the last, I opted for another disc with the same flight numbers, except a higher glide. Nice straight flight for me. Feel in the hand isn't as comfortable as it could be (though that's always personal preference), but all in all, a good disc. From my experience with this plastic on the other disc I referred to, I'd probably go with a higher grade in the future.

Got this one in my starter pack. Honestly, this is a completely different disc depending on the weight and the plastic. The starter pack Prime Burst is pretty easy to turn over, and beats in extremely understable. It taught me how to throw a hyzer flip shortly before it got too flippy even for that shot, but when I tried to replace it with a premium plastic (Fuzion and Lucid) I suddenly couldn't even get it to fly straight. If you're coming here to order a replacement for your beat up starter pack disc, make sure you check the weights and don't accidentally buy yourself a beefcake.

This disc and I don't really get along. It seems very sensitive to variations in speed, but in a way that's not terribly helpful for me. One moment, I'm ripping it on hyzer and it's flipping into a line that reminds me of some of my favorite Valkyries. Other shots, I throw it flat and it proceeds to hyzer the whole way. All this on calm, windless days. I know a lot of people love this disc, but I just haven't gotten on with it in a good way yet. Could be a fluke on my part.

This disc is a great beginner disc for those with less arm speed. The problem is that this disc is easily outgrown. It only took me a month or so before it wasn't working for my arm speed. i would recommend it but there are better options out there.

This disc is very similar to a Valkyrie with a little more glide. Great disc once you have the arm speed to throw straight tunnel shots with a natural slight hyzer.

This is one of the first discs I owned. Even as a beginner I was able to get some good distance with it while maintaining some accuracy. I would definitely recommend this disc for beginners. Unfortunately after one season of use it became very broken in and unreliable. I still keep it on my bag for a roller disc. I've tried using it for backhand turnovers and have had some good luck with it but sometimes it just turns and burns. I wish I had this disc in a more durable plastic.

The Prime Burst Escape was my very first driver. It is a disc that is difficult for a beginner to use, as a 9 speed will probably fly very overstable for a new player regardless of actual flight numbers. Once you are experienced and are comfortable with the power, the Escape is a good straight flier that can handle some power. It is overall a good fairway driver, and I would recommend it for any skill level above beginner. My only complaint is that the Prime plastic beats in very easily, mine currently has a chip on the edge of the rim. That said, this could easily be avoided by getting an Escape in a more durable plastic, like Fuzion or Lucid.

To me, this is the best all-around fairway driver on the market. I got my first Escape in lucid plastic when I was a true beginner. It was my go-to for a dependably stable disc that still went pretty far. Now that I have a faster arm speed, this disc has become more versatile, and it only seems to get better with age. The Escape will hold almost any line I put it on. When released with 90% power on a slight heizer, it will flip up and go straight FOREVER before fading reliably back. I throw it on wooded courses for it's control, I through it on open shots for its glide and reliability, I throw it forehand and backhand, I don't think there's anything this disc can do (short of putting).

    Pros:

Perfect for any bginner-intermediate player to test out their control with tight, long lines.

Just, everything. The rim, the feel, the glide, the reliable fade.

    Cons:

Not very reliable in windy situations, particularly head or left-to-right cross winds (for a RHBH).

Maybe too flippy for an advanced/pro player?

Basically, you should buy this disc. It has taught me so much about driving

Excellent disc for intermediate and advanced players, but not great for those just starting out. I got the Escape from a DD starter pack and it was one of the first discs that I threw as a beginner. My form has improved exponentially since then and I've found the Escape to be excellent for wooded holes and intermediate distance. Feels great in the hand and prime plastic is one of the better baseline plastics IMO.

This disk is a speed 9 if speed is achieved disk flight is superb. Under thrown, disk will turn over quickly.

This disc is one that I got expecting a dynamic discs version of a Valkyrie, however, this disc is more understable than that. Also, I got it in prime plastic, which is great for putters, but for drivers, it gets beat real quick. The way that dynamic describes the getaway is actually perfect, because the escape and the getaway are very very similar, except the escape is less stable. The escape has a pretty standard speed nine rim and a board flat top. I’m a big fan of flat tops for forehands. So, the main reason to purchase this disc is for technical woods shots that you need a flippy disc for, or if you are a beginner, looking for a disc to love.

Definitely recommend this disc for newer players that have an average arm speed or higher. This disc is pretty easy to throw straight, and pretty much holds whatever line you put it on. I use it when I need a reliable fairway drive or spike hyzer approach
