The Escape is the Dynamic Discs stable moderate-speed driver. This is a stable/overstable driver that works well for controlled, consistent fairway shots and wide open drives. This disc is an excellent choice for intermediate and advanced disc golfers.

    Lucid Sparkle Details

Dynamic Discs Lucid plastic is a beautiful clear durable blend. DD calls it the perfect combination of polymers that produce some of the most beautiful and durable plastic in disc golf. This translucent blend can take a beating and maintain the original flight characteristics of the disc for many rounds of disc golf. The Lucid Sparkle adds a healthy dose of sparkles to the plastic for extra beauty!

I wrote a review of the Escape almost two years ago, but it was for Prime Burst plastic whereas I now have one in Lucid Sparkle, which I felt ought to get its own (and higher) review: The knock against the earlier ones I tested was the grade of the plastic and how they felt in the hand, though they still flew well. Somehow this newer one feels better, plus the quality (and unique shimmer) of the plastic are a definite upgrade -- and the flight is just as good or better now. If the disc (or your hand) gets damp at all, this grade may make it harder to release the disc properly versus the cheaper, but grippier grade, but otherwise it releases well for me, has the higher durability, and I love the flight & distance!
