Very far flying 9-speed. Lots of glide. Like most 9, 5, -1, 2 discs it is more Understable than the flight numbers.  Nice hyzer-flip dead straight disc, and it hold an anhyzer for a long time.

The Escape is my go to fairway driver. At 9 speed it might sacrifice 30 feet of distance to my distance drivers on my max throw, but makes up for it with the longest straight line drives I've ever seen. It will not turn over into neverland no matter how big a rip I get and the fade is very gradual. Also, throw it with high anny and will ride the line you give it all the way to the ground. If you are looking for controllable distance, I highly recommend.

A great straight flying fairway driver. Love throwing escapes dead straight for 300ft. Biofuzion plastic will give you a bit of turn.

Totally under rated disc. This is a good beginner disc, and definitely has a spot in the bag for intermediate and advanced players as well. With it being a 9 speed, if you don't have the arm speed it will just fly like a somewhat overstable driver. That said, it's a great disc to introduce the 9 speed category because as your arm speed increases and the disc beats in, it will start to get straighter for you and will be great to teach you angle control. For more experienced players this is a hyzer flip machine / turnover disc and will glide for days. Get one. Bag it. Love it.

    Fuzion Plastic, 173 grams

Straight flier out of the box with a great feel in your hand. Great for backhand straight shots and turnovers, not enough stability for forehand flicks.

I have this disc in Fuzion plastic, 173g

Basically brand new and the disc is too flippy for me. I have an average/low power/arm speed and I'm turning this disc over when thrown flat. I was hoping for something that was relatively straight flying with a little s-curve when thrown flat like a big brother to the C-Line FD. Unfortunately this disc is not that. Often it turns over and dives to the ground. In an open field I'm getting a solid 320 feet on a hyzer flip but unfortunately most courses don't include wide open football fields. It's in my bag but unfortunately I can't trust it enough to use it often.

This is one of the discs I picked up when I started playing disc golf and it is still in my bag. The escape is a reliable straight flyer with a consistent, soft fade. I'd recommend the escape for both any beginner looking for their first driver or a seasoned player looking for a straight flying control driver.

Fairly neutral flying out of the box definitely a compliment to a thunderbird and not something close to it as the flight numbers would suggest. In my bag it fits into the Neutral to slightly understable spot for my 9 speeds. For reference I can throw up to around 400 feet consistently and these can push up to 350. In my opinion it's a good disc but not quite great, thus the 4 stars. The hand feel can be a bit odd but I'm fairly used to it. It doesn't fly too similar to the flight numbers in my opinion but can be a bit odd, throwing flat it will hold turn for a good portion of the flight but hyzers will sometimes flip to flat but never past and other times they just kind of hold a penetrating hyzer. It takes a while to learn but you can get used to it and make it a good staple within your bag though.

i have experience with escapes in various plastics, and I have a similar gripe with every one of them. The flight of them is great...while DD plastic wears in quickly, it maintains that stability for awhile. The flight is nearly perfectly as the flight numbers say, but with maybe a touch more high speed turn on the fusion options. My issue is with the concavity of the rim. I can not forehand this disc. Backhand, this disc might be my favorite disc ever. But the forehand grip is atrocious. Wobble city. I have gravitated towards the Kastaplast Lots because of their very rounded edges, but I will never not have these Escapes as a backup.

    174 Fuzion Escape

Picked it up on whim and glad I did. It is a solid control driver that is easy to throw and provides adequate distance. Where this disc excels, though, is through precise angle control. Take some time to learn your angles well and this disc will do whatever you want with 250-350 foot of power. You can do a soft turnover, flip to flat straight flight, or soft hyzer and it will go where you want it to go while holding that hyzer perfectly.

I think the numbers are spot on. I am still learning my FH but can get a nice flight out of this disc. That is saying a lot for me considering I usually do not FH anything but MVP. I have only had it a few months, so time will tell how much of that stability it retains, but out of the box, a very nice control driver.

Its got the turn, its got the glide, and it goes just as far as some distance drivers. If you are transitioning up from a Teebird or 7 speeds in general, you'll probably find some great success with this disc. It also handles better in heavier weights than the same type of disc from another company, which is good for the wind. If you get your form to where it needs to be throwing a 9 speed, this disc just works.

Oh the Escape, a disc that has gone in and out of my bag for years. A disc that does one thing one year and something completely different the next. So as my throwing style changes and progresses, the Escape changes right along with me. I remember the first time I threw it and it was impressive. As the years have gone by, its become a nightmare and more recently quite the trick disc for me. I now use it for low ceiling anhyzer shots where I need a long line on any with just a touch of fade. It is quite the predictable disc.

The escape is very good beginner friendly disc. It will fly straight with a touch of fade at the end for them. For you moderate players it will fly very straight and true. For professional this disc thrown on hyzer will fly very straight and have a little more turn at the end of the flight

I started playing disc golf a couple years ago and this instantly became one of my favorite discs. The flight is straight for most of the flight and faded a little toward the end. This disc is perfect for beginners who need their first driver because the escape is not very fast but they can hold a good line for disc golfers who are starting out. Now there are some downsides to the disc as well. The escape beats in pretty quickly and can get floppy pretty quick. But to fix that problem, put more more hyzer to get even more distance on the disc. I would not recommend this disc for headwinds because it will turn and you many never see your disc again.

Great disc. Flies very straight at 80%, and with a nice S curve above that. Go to fairway for me. I think this would be an excellent main driver for a beginner to intermediate player.

The Escape is a control driver from Dynamic Discs. The Escape has a comfortable feel in the hand, though I think it has a wider rim than a lot of other 9 speed discs (I'd put it more at a 10). The Fuzion plastic felt great and was very durable. The flight of the Escape reminds me a lot of the Pro Starfire from Innova. It has a hint of turn and some fade at the end, making it a stable, yet controllable driver. I was pushing the Escape out to some distance driver distances, so if you are looking for a true fairway, this is probably a bit longer. This disc has the potential to be a nice, workhorse type driver in your bag.

Wow! Took a test drive today and the Fuzion Escape was amazing.  This thing consistently traveled every bit as far as my distance drivers. It has tons of glide without loss of control.  I will always have one of these in my bag.

When someone asks me what the Escape is like I always say the same thing. I tell them that it flies like a beat in convict. The Escape is slightly less stable than the convict and has much more glide. If you throw a convict 300' or more, then the Escape will likely be a long turnover disc for you. You should be able to start it on some hyzer and have it flip over and ride to the right with minimal fade. If you don't have that much power and find yourself throwing around 250' with a convict, then this disc will allow you to get to 300' on a big hyzer flip to flex line. Put it out flat or maybe a touch of hyzer and watch it flip a little and glide forever down the fairway. As a beginner this disc might be a little too fast and stable but if you have been playing for about a year then this would be a good disc to try out. For a lower arm speed this might be a good headwind disc or a tailwind disc for a higher arm speed. The Escape is a little domey but I have never seen one with a pop top or super large dome. The rim is a little sharper than the convict but still feels nice in the hand. The smaller rim of the Escape also makes it a good fit for kids or people with smaller hands. I currently do not bag an Escape just because I found that I wasn't able to control it as much as I wanted. Instead of an Escape, I bag a Bryce because it has a very similar flight but has a better feel and for me is much more controllable. I think that the Escape is a good disc for many people however it is just not the right one for me. I have definitely seen some people who throw the Escape perfectly, so consider checking the Escape out above.

The DD Escape is a disc that will surprise you in either a good or a bad way and it seems the love/hate relationship doesn't just go for me. The Escape has a comfortable rim and a generally Domey profile that makes it fairly comfortable to grip. Forehand this disc might feel a little weird at first but is serviceable. The Escape falls more into a distance driver like flight than a control driver flight for me probably due to it's massive glide.I have owned the Escape in Lucid, Fuzion, and BioFuzion in weight ranges 167-175g I ultimately found myself using the Fuzion the most.

The Escape goes far, end of review. This disc has a fairly neutral profile and when thrown correctly absolutely crushes. From brand new it has a flight likened to a slightly less flippy Thunderbird with maybe a touch more glide. As it breaks in this disc's flight characteristics change a little and it starts to become more flippy and start turning over something which for me it's closest rival the thunderbird did not do. If I had to rank the stability I would say out of the box the Fuzion Escape is probably the most stable, then Lucid and finally Biofuzion. This disc is a great first distance driver and is easy to layer. At the right arm speed this disc can be deadly accurate and highly versatile but as your game improves you will likely reserve it to more niche uses or find yourself discing up to something a little more stable. The only downside to the Escape is that it can be a hair unreliable once broken in and as such requires decent layering, Also it's glide is sneaky and in downhill situations you might find yourself yelling "STOP!'  as this disc cruises past the basket and eventually OB.

The Escape when new can do a little work in a headwind but ultimately this disc will prefer the tailwind as it's monstrous glide will keep this disc in the air in a fashion similar to a Discmania FD.

I would say to someone just starting out the Escape isn't quite the right disc to go to. But assuming you have hit the 250-275ft range with your drives go out and get a couple light weight biofuzion escapes. The will be the disc that carry you into the 300ft mark.

The Escape for me was an indispensable learning tool and I always look back on them with fond memories occasionally stealing one of my brothers to throw and relive the magic. The Escape is highly versatile at a certain level of play and is a disc that more people should really try out but ultimately you may find yourself looking for something a touch more stable. That being said 4/5 stars suits this disc nicely it was one of the first molds dd ever released and in my opinion probably one of the best by a long shot. Those with decent power and feel they have outgrown the Escape should definitely consider Innova Thunderbirds as a step up at least until the new Getaway comes out.

    I have a 174 g Fuzion Escape.

I throw RHBH with avg. distance being 250 - 300 feet.

I had originally bought this disc when I first started playing 3 years ago, and we didn't get along well at all.

At that time the disc just went left and wasn't getting any kind of distance for me.

That's when it went on a shelf along with other "mistakes" I had purchased :-)

A couple of weeks ago I pulled it off the shelf and decided to give it another go.

What a surprise! I am luvin this disc!

When I throw this disc with power it is extremely straight and then gets a very moderate fade at the very end of the flight.

I am so impressed with the glide that this disc has.

I would say it has glide very similar to my Opto Saint, but this disc gives the impression that it is a speed or two faster than the Saint.

At any rate, I am so glad to have pulled this one off the shelf.

It it definitely staying in the bag now.

Thought this would be a faster Teebird, but it definitely has more high speed turn than my Star Teebird. It took me a little while to get used to, but once I did it has become my go to control driver. Some of my first "impressive" drives in disc golf (where I felt like I actually threw the flight path it was meant for) came from this disc. This is a great disc for someone ready to get into a more overstable driver, after starting with something like the Lat 64 Diamond or the Vibram Onyx.

If only this could handle the wind it would be a staple in my bag.  I get a nice S out of this with a small consistent fade at the end.  It just can't handle the wind, and I live in a windy area.  Lower arm speeds can use this as one of their first controllable hyzer discs.

The Escape is an excellent control driver. It's not great in really heavy winds, because it has so much glide. But in most conditions, it's very dependable. It gets nice S-curves on flex shots, and on flat throws it has reliable fade. It can also hold a long, sweeping hyzer angle pretty well.

I normally throw a Fuzion Escape, but also have one in Lucid Air plastic. The Fuzion is what I use for control shots in the 280-320 ft. range when I need it to fade at the end of its flight. The Lucid Air is used for hyzer flip max distance shots; I don't test that one in the wind, because I haven't had good results throwing light discs into headwinds.

The Escape is very similar to the Saint. Depending on weight and plastic type, they can be identical or one can be more overstable if it's heavier. I prefer the Escape to fill the overstable slot in weights around 170g and above; it seems to be better than the Saint in normal headwinds in those weights.

The Escape is a great mold for Trilogy throwers trying to fill that stable control driver slot.

This is the ONLY disc that I could not get rid of when trying to unify my bag to vibram discs. It has insainly perfect glide and is my favorite disc for between 200-400 feet. it feels great and works well in wind (I throw 175). It may be slightly too overstable for some beginners and shouldn't be a first disc, but it has low-enough speed that I do recommend it as a first driver.

I picked up a 172 Fuzion Escape hoping it would replace my lost Gold Line Saint.  Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.  However, I REALLY enjoy the Escape!  The Escape is much more of a shot shaping disc than the Saint was.  Saint was dead straight before the late fade.  The Escape really likes to turn a good amount before always finishing with a decent fade.  The Escape has provided me with a few lines I would would never be able to hit with the Saint, while providing greater distance for me.

Simply one of the best discs money can buy. This thing flies super true to the line you put on it. It's ever-so-slightly over stable and will hold a lot of force. However, it doesn't handle a headwind well, so be choosy there (I'd recommend the Felon for this). Do yourself a favor, buy this disc! It doesn't disappoint.
