    Disc - 175 Titanium Machete

Feel - The machete is extremely flat topped, and has a fairly sharp bottom edge. For a disc to be as overstable as the machete it is definitely not going to feel as good as some other discs.

Flight - The machete is one of the most useful discs on the market. Personally, I love this disc because there are many holes that bend sharply left or right and I can throw this disc with either a forehand or a backhand and get a huge skip. For those who want the flight of an FAF firebird but don't want to have to look throw tons of discs or just want one that is easier to replace, I would recommend the machete. It is so overstable and will cut through any wind.

Overall - The best overstable utility disc on the market but would not recommend this disc to many players as they can get similar flights with not so specific runs of firebird or other overstable fairway drivers.

If you throw thumbers, you need to try a Machete. The Machete fits perfectly between a Stiletto or Nuke OS and a Firebird. The Machete has way more overstability than a Firebird, but a more managable rim width than the Stiletto or Nuke OS. You can easily grab onto this disc and throw perfect, slow-panning thumbers with this disc.

I got this disc for the "slice through the wind" purpose and let me just say it does exactly that. I live in a very windy area and I have had more than a few rounds end in frustration due to having gusts come out of nowhere and push drives all over the place. The Machete absolutely does as advertised when it comes to the wind. I was dumbfounded the first time I threw this into a cross wind and didn't have my disc rise 20 feet then drop 50. It truly does fight the wind and is amazing for spike hyzer shots. I lean on it for a utility type disc for when I need a 300 foot spike that won't skip out of bounds. This is great for getting out and over trees and playing lawn darts with the pin. It is incredibly overstable and I pesonally don't have a use for it other than the spike placement shots. I have other discs that I can use for distance but nothing can quite beat this when it comes to knifing through the wind for a perfectly placed shot. I would not recommend this for someone just starting out because of the overstablility it is very difficult to throw well and potentially cause someone to lose interest. Pick this up once you have a feel for the game and want to start working on more difficult and advanced shots.
