The Force is the only overstable distance driver that I was able to throw well as a beginner. It was obviously a lighter weight (167 g) for my puny beginner throws, but it went amazing straight and far before fading out. If you are a beginner looking for an overstable driver, this is your disc.

I essentially only throw backhand shots and love it even if its an obvious forehand hole. However, I toyed around with the Force as 2nd shots off the tee and was crushing it past my backhand drives. Totally surprised me. I can't throw straight consistently with a forehand, but if the fairway has more room to play and I need to tho far, then a forehand Force will be my play. And it might be the only forehand I throw all game.

I have 2 of these.  174g Z  &  162g X  plastic.   The heavy Z plastic is very overstable, but if you rip it, it will fly a while before fading out. For years I used it on meathooky shots, flex shots with anny, as my utility, etc, since I couldn't see speed 12 distance out of it.  I also own a Nuke OS, and the Force is slightly more OS than this force, with less glide/distance. The Nuke OS is a few grams lighter at 169 and a little older. The Nuke seems to fly a little further, turn a little more in general, and fade about the same after a longer mid flight glide. They feel about the same. The Force acts very overstable even in headwind. It takes a massive headwind to hold this thing up.  I don't see a reason why you would want or need both the Force and a Nuke OS.

I still don't see distance from this that I get out of less OS discs of speed 9 or better. That's OK though.   It skips nicely, so I use it for that, too. I stopped carrying it for a while but this spring we've had lots of wind and all my other discs I used to think were overstable aren't cutting it. Maybe I'm getting better. Maybe they other discs are beating in, but this force is still there for me.

I decided to try a lighter Force for more distance with fade, so I bought a 162g X plastic Force. 162g is not that lightweight, right?  Well this one has some fade to it, but it's really understable. I was using it to flip-straight-fade, but after minimal break-in, it's flying more understable than my understable drivers. Now it's flip-turn-turn-maybefade. Oh well that's my last X plastic purchase...  3 stars: 5 for the Z and 1 for the X...

So i made a mistake by getting this disc in the first 3 months of me playing. I was at my local disc golf store with no knowledge of what every disc really does i ended up with a z dyed plastic force that looked awesome. Next day i played a round with my buddies and man did it look better in my hand than thrown out of. I BH and FH it but with my form being out of wack and only getting about 140 at best with it I had to put it away. I am actually going to try and throw it again now that I've improved greatly so ill bring you an update here shortly.
