This is becoming my favorite distance driver.  It is the thinnest/flattest driver I own and pierces through the wind so I am not afraid to throw it into a headwind on a slight hyzer flip and it just keeps on going.  It can handle full power without turning and burning.

I keep a/b-ing this with a Star Shryke and they go pretty much the same distance every throw (375-400 for me lately) but the Crank always ends up just a little further right than the Shryke because it has less low speed fade.

I'd say the Shryke feels more workable and the Crank is better for nearly straight long shots.  I might end up keeping both for a while.

I found a swirl glo esp Tim Barham crank a while ago and never threw it. It was basically brand new and still had the price tag sticker on it from and I randomly gave it a try recently. I found it to be a really nice turnover drive. Even in tailwind I still get a good amount of turn. I can count on it to turn over with a nice fade at the very end of the flight. I can throw this a little further than my destroyers but in open space I still trust destroyers more. Much to my surprise, I kept this in the bag for long distance shots that I need to travel right. For reference, my average drive in open space is about 425ft. This would be a great stable distance drive for a player whos being to look into higher speed drivers

Once you have consistent form but still need a disc that will reach out a little further than what is in your bag, you should buy the Crank.  It has great glide what will help out those that don't have a powerful arm and gets very good mid-flight turn.  It is also very forehand friendly:  crank on it and you'll get good distance or put some touch and the right angle and you'll get great skip.
