    Pro-D Details

Pro-D is Discrafts affordable basic plastic blend. This isn't the most durable plastic, but it provides good grip and is very affordable. For old school disc golfers that like to "break in" thier discs for varying flight paths, Pro-D is an excellent choice. It is also one of the most popular blends for putters and is often referred to as "putter line" plastic.

Could've been that I was using Pro-D plastic, but I was not impressed with this disc at all.

It flew a lot like a Tern but with less speed, less glide and worse results. Something about the rim really bothered me how it felt clunky despite not being as high-speed as some less clunky rims.

I won't give it 1 star because hey, it did its job. But it didn't do anything better than any other driver I've thrown.

This disc felt really great coming out of the hand but for players like me who dont have the biggest arms you arent going to get the most out of this disc. If you have the speed for it, then im sure youll love it. If you dont, then this will prolly sit in a crate in your garage like mine is

While I prefer the molds from other companies that are similar to the Crank, I can't deny that this is a well made disc and really provides players the next step up after they've gotten comfortable in their game. This is a great high speed driver for any player looking to move on to the next level after they've gotten the hang of proper form using a slower more understable driver. The Crank feels very similar to a Sheriff or Dominator, but the rim is a little too sleek for my liking. It provides all the distance you will ever need and really caters towards a control game off the tee. As a RHBH and RHFH thrower, this disc could serve as a versatile option in the bag of any player. While I will personally take a Dominator or Sheriff, anyone who loves the Discraft lines should definitely have a Crank in their bag.

I'll start by saying, there is something about Pro-D plastic I absolutely LOVE. It feels nice and not overly grippy. But, I also think it adds a little stable-understable vibe to overstable marketed discs. I was coming off using a Destroyer in basic plastic and looking for something a little more stable which led me to the crank. I love it! Holds a line very consistently especially in fairway and open area situations.Has a slight fade at the end and gives a little bit of a turn over. You can get some nice S-Curves with this disc. I also use a ESP plastic Crank and that one is a little more overstable. The Pro-D I have at 166g while the ESP is 170-172g.Even though the Pro-D I have is a little on the lighter side, the wind doesn't have too much of a profound effect. My Pro-D is also a little more domey than my ESP. Great disc!

Very hard disc for guys with not much arm speed at strength. With a big arm throwing backhand, the disc will flex ALOT. Throw it high and let it fly is the main trick for the disc. Give it room to turn over.

Don't know why but can't get the star rating to change but this Disc is definitely a  5 STAR in my opinion. I love this Disc! I started with a beast and mamba. Then changed to a boss then prodigy d3. The crank is my new favorite go to Disc. Super predictable, easy to use first throw. I have no problem even with wind. If your a power thrower you'll love this Disc for Max distance. Personally I'm a hyper flip player but with this Disc (RHBH) I just aim right of the target and throw hard flat and level and the disc does all the work for me! Definitely a must have Disc! Boom!!
