The Axiom Pyro sets a new standard for beadless overstable midranges. This disc is amazingly torque resistant, and flies exactly where you want it to go. It's an amazing forehand and backhand midrange, and could become your next go-to.

It should be noted I live at 5,600ft, which makes all discs fly more overstable, so your experience may differ a bit. I have a Pyro in Plasma as well as the new Fission. The plastic difference isn't as drastic as say Innova's GStar vs Halo Star, but it is noticable nonethless. The Plasma is not only more overstable, it's drastically more dumpy for me, almost like a 3 glide. The Fission Pyro is still quite overstable and is brand new as it was just released, but it already is less overstable than the plasma one. I'd say the Plasma Pyro is closer to a fade of 3.5 an the fission is spot on at 2.5. If the Fission acts like other Fission discs I have, it'll beat in nicely to be a more straight to reliable fade kind of disc, like a true 0,2 kind of disc. Again, at altitude, it's so beefy that it doesn't have a ton of use for me as I'd prefer a putter for that kind of overstability but I'm really optimistic the fission pyro is going to beat into a reliable disc that is a hair less stable overall. I'll add that I've played plenty of rounds at sea level and think I'd be more likely to bag the pyro if I lived at sea level where the overstability wasn't quite so extreme and the disc would glide more than it does up here at the mile high.
