The Westside Underworld is the ideal driver for beginners. This understable disc has a high degree of high-speed turn, followed by minimal low-speed fade. It has a moderate sized 1.9 cm rim, and a comfortable feel that will provide new disc golfers more control and distance than most other discs. For more experienced players, the Underworld is great for straight hyzer flip throws that will go the distance. The Underworld is available in both VIP and Tournament plastics.

This is the best hyzerflip disc I've ever used, and it does so right out of the box! For brand new players I could see this being the straight flying driver they've been looking for, and more advanced players will find all sorts of uses for this disc to shape shots. Thrown hard this will turn and burn, but with speed control this can glide seemingly forever on a straight line. Amazing disc for tight gaps in the woods.

This is one of my favorite understable fairway drivers ever. It is incredibly easy to manipulate and shape lines through the woods with and it works great for rollers too. Hard to beat when it comes to flippy utility discs or a finesse fairway driver for slower arms

In VIP plastic - this has the -3 turn right out of the box. Don't need to beat it in to see the flight numbers.  Extremely easy first hyzer flip disc. Great glide - my go-to for wooded shots where I want to hyzer flip and let it coast down the fairway

I've taught several friends and coworkers to play disc golf and this disc is the one that has them hooked. With lower arm speeds it flies in a perfect S-curve and gives new players a crazy amount more distance.

As a more intermediate player, i got this disc with the intent for it to be my first roller, but it instead found a place in my bag as a touch anhyzer disc and I use it all the time. I absolutely love this disc.

Love this disc and I have it in VIP 170g and Origio 174g. The VIP gets more service. Great understable disc for developing arm. This is a great disc for learning a hyper-flip. I'd put the glide a little lower than labeled.

I have this disc in VIP plastic at 169 grams. This has become one of the go to drivers in my bag. I can release this flat for dependable turn or throw it on hyzer angle for a nice hyzer flip that usually gets me close to my max distance. It is also very consistent when released on anhyzer shots. This disc is very flippy, but once you learn how to utilize it, it is a very useful tool in your bag. I recommend anyone trying this disc at least once to give it a fair try.

This is my new favorite disc. I finally can get a late turn thanks to the underworld. Seriously. Mind blowing distance with little effort. That has totally filled a huge gap in my throwing skillset.

If I throw this flat(or a very slight hyzer) and uphill I can get a beautiful flex out of this. A strong turn up and around a bend to finish off with a small nice fade. In the past I just layed up shots to make these kinds of turns, but this did it all in one throw (what use to take 2 or 3 throws).

I tried multiple discs in this mold and all were much more over stable than rated. Each disc I tried flew very much like an Opto XXX.  I tried the Witness and Diamond, both having similar flight numbers and both fly as expected.  There must have been a bad run of these that I couldn't escape while testing.  I was looking for a turnover disc for low power s flights, rollers, and high power turnovers.

Versatility! This disc is growing with me as my game improves. For beginners it excels as a straight driver with minimal fade. Once a player's technique improves, its great for a hyzerflip for really sending it out, and as one gets even fancier, a gentle anhyzer will send it with a consistent right turn that doesn't fade back, and a good strong anhyzer can get a great roll out of the Underworld.  This disc's consistency and usefulness will keep you pulling it out of your bag.

This disc is awesome for a beginner driver. It has a nice "S" line when released flat, can hold a deep anhyzer, and is a good tool for learning to do a hyzerflip. I lost my first disc, but immediately bought a new one. Has tons of glide so be careful if you wing it into the woods, it might be hard to find. I averaged around 275 and don't have to push it too far. I actually throw this farther than my roadrunner

The Underworld from Westside is a sneaky long, but flippy driver. This thing feels very comfortable in hand with the rim size for the distance you can get. I also like that the disc doesn't require a ton of power to get it to flip up and go, but I did find it a bit touchy and hard to control at times. I'm sure some can really control this thing, but I had trouble with consistency with my own throws. This is a fun disc and one I would point those just stepping up to distance drivers to.

LOVE THIS DISC!!!!! This disc is amazing for me, because of it's understability. I aced #4 At Elma Disc Golf Course with this disc. #4 is an elevated pin, slightly to the right hole. Threw it with a bit of hyzer, straightened, faded right and banged. I have had this amazing disc in my bag ever since.

If you want a disc that when thrown RHBH with any amount of hyzer, will turn to the right and never come back, this is your disc. I can only use it for a very specific shot, which is what I just described, but it does this consistently. I don't throw rollers but I assume this would work for that as well if you have a low ceiling and need the disc to get down to the ground quick. I rarely bag this disc but, like I said, it can serve a very specific purpose and do it dependably.

I love this disc. It's a consistent straight thrower for me. I don't have a power arm, so most x/x-3/1 discs fly straight for me. When I throw with the right amount of anhyzer, it will go dead straight and land with no fade. If I throw it on a hard anhyzer line, it holds that line and doesn't fight back. Most of the time, I throw flat straight and it lands with minimal fade (less than 7ft) off the original line. When the Underworld was out-of-the-box new and thrown on a slight anhyzer, it would consistently fight back and land on the original line. As this disc continues to beat in, I think it will gradually turn into a soft turnover disc. I think I will always have one or two of these in my bag.

I got this disc in Elasto (RIP) when I was just starting out disc golfing and it was one of the best disc choices I've ever made. When I could only throw 200' this disc would fly perfectly both backhand and forehand. I threw it flat, it turned a little, and then came back about straight. As my game progressed I still had a use for this disc as it was great for turnovers, tailwind shots, and shot shaping in the woods. If you have a more powerful arm and can throw 300+ then this might be a good roller disc for you especially if you need to learn a roller. I haven't been using this disc in my bag for a while but I am learning a roller with it and so far it is working very well. I will definitely get another one of these once the one I have gets lost or too flippy.

Let me preface this by saying I'm still a relative newcomer. With that out of the way, this disc is phenomenal for people like me who don't have a huge arm speed yet. It helps elongate those tee shots, and it can hyzer like I want it to. The vip plastic looks great, and feels just as good in the hand.

The numbers are true. Lots of HS turn and lots of glide. It will turn and burn if you put too much snap or power. This is great for either a beginner to learn on or as a finess driver for easy hyzer flips or turnovers. I carry a patriot instead of this because the patriot can handle a bit more power and I can get it to do the same things, except get the glide of an Uderworld.

This disc is money for a beginner who has RHBH slow arm speed like I do.  A good disc to really develop your form and is still very forgiving if you stray from your technique.  As you develop your shot and beat this disc in a bit, this disc can turn into a great turnover disc.

This is one of my top 3 favorite discs in my bag. It was the 4th disc I got (first 3 being the 2016 triology set). As a beginner with a lower arm speed it's understandablility gave me that glide distance everyone chases. Now that I've been playing for over a year, I can still hyzer-flip it for some good distance and I love throwing it flat on right hand dogleg holes.I would definitely recommend it for people getting into the sport and looking for something to "turn the other way!"

Glide glide and more glide. Longest gliding driver I ever threw.  It does flip a little, but not uncontrollably.  This disc bombs.

It may not be the most controllable driver, but if you have a wide open fairway let this baby rip!

Works wonders for people with a weaker arm. Very easy to control your shot. The flight numbers are almost identical to an archangel. Both discs fly about the same from my experience. The VIP plastic really helps the underworld shine through. The underworld is durable, consistent and fun. Nothing has helped my driving improve more than this disc.

So this disc was in a prize pack I won in a tournament, and I honestly just threw it a few times on a whim. Well once I realized the extraordinary versatility of a disc in this range, the Underworld never left my bag. I think too many of us reach the stage where it is all about long drives and short putts. We neglect the midrange and control driver segment of our game. This is a mistake. Pick up this disc and something like the Culverin from Lat 64 and see if they don't help you lower your score.

This disc has so much glide it is incredible. It is understable but it is not an uncontrollable understable disc. This is a disc that I can hyzer flip, roll and make it do pretty much whatever I want it to do. It is very versatile and can do the job of many discs. The only trouble that I have with this disc is when I try to bomb one then it turns over too quickly and doesn't get the optimal flight. This is a must in the bag.

This is a great beginners disc.  I picked up one in VIP plastic after playing for a couple of months and was a straight flyer with great glide.  Now that I've been playing a while this disc now fills the spot of my understable turnover driver and roller.  The glide is rated a 6 but wow it just goes.  I think the turn of -3 is about right for this disc.  Slight fade at the end of flight.  Highly recommend it.

Excellent beginners disc and the most understable fairway driver in the Westside lineup. It was one of the first discs I purchased when I began playing and stayed in my bag for almost 2 years.

For players who throw under 325 ft, the Underworld is the perfect understable fairway driver. It has incredible glide, will hold a nice smooth anhyzer flight, and can be hyzerflipped to flat for tunnel shots or late turnovers. The Underworld offers easy, controlled distance.

For players who throw over 350 ft, the Underworld may be too understable. It can still be finessed but becomes a little unpredictable. It makes a great roller though. I'd suggest jumping up to the Seer or Fury at this power level for more reliability.

This disc does not fly as advertised. It is far more stable and I have found it not to be consistent stabilities within the same plastic/weight.  This should be a great beginner disc, but it's just not.  I haven't found any of the newer ppl or 300 ft and lower players I help that like this disc.  I can't even get it to hold a long anhyzer line, it always fades back too much at the end.

This is basically a Westside Diamond.  The speed rating is 7.  I don't know that there is a huge difference between 7 and 8, but my wife has an underworld we got at a tournament and a diamond from a two disc challenge.  I throw her discs all the time for field practice and these fly almost the exact same to me.  She doesn't have a preference(maybe the diamond, it's pink), she throws them about the same also.  If westside is you preference you can't go wrong with this disc, great for all players.  It's a perfect beginner's disc, will S  curve for low arm speed players, good for hyzer flips and turnovers.

Note: I am writing this from the prespective of myself. I am a beginner lower power player who has played for about 1 year and can throw about 275 consistently. I had a purple VIP 173G Underworld and it is probably my favorite disc.

    Pros:

    •  The purple is a very deep great color.
    •  Turnover disc and can go right and stay right.
    •  Uphill disc that can go almost the same distance uphill as it can on a flat line.
    •  Can be hyzer flipped to fly straighter.
    •  Very good grip and feel in  the hand.
    •  This is the most glide I've ever seen in a disc (more glide than the 7 rated glide maul and river).
    • My longest disc by far; gives extra distance to newer lower arm players.

    Cons:

    •  Headwinds will turn this disc into an instant roller
    •  Croswinds can make this disc fly forever. (This can be a pro too if you can play it right) This will usually cause the disc to fly long and right into some sort of a tree or bush. This happened to me and caused me to lose my VIP underwolrd causing me to order a new Elasto Underworld in pink for higher visibitlity
    •  The disc can't really go left

Love this disc. Permanent spot in my bag as a RHBH thrower for right turning shots as well as S curve throws. The glide on this disc is what makes it awesome. I can throw it low and it just keeps going. Took me awhile to get this thing down but lately it has become a go to disc of mine. If you are a RHBH thrower like me and need a driver that cuts right and s curves, the Underworld is a fantastic option!

I got a red VIP underworld at 174g. I must say that this is one of if not the best looking disc I've ever owned. Even if I couldn't use it I think I'd keep it in my bag just to look at every once in awhile. I don't have the strongest arm in the world but if I throw this at 100% power it will turn a little but it'll always come back. Anything less then 100% and it won't turn at all and go dead straight then it will fade back pretty hard. It's like a Buzzz OS in my opinion and my personal flight ratings would be 7/7/-1/3. The only thing that would keep it in my bag is the glide on this thing. It's unreal!!! I was looking for a under stable companion for my Buzzz and maybe after it gets beat a little it'll turn over but the glide is too good to give up on just yet.

I have a VIP underworld in blue, 167g. I want to like this disc but i cant seem to get a consistent flight path with it. Its possibly my throwing mechanics and it just comes out different everytime i throw it. The flight path of this disc seems to be pretty understable. Most throws it comes out straight then gets a substantial amount of turn and a little fade at the end. Sometimes ill throw it though and itll just come out immediatly turning and ill ding a tree or end up in jail. Like i said probably throwing mechanincs. Overall its a nice disc, great plastic and i think most people who have good throwing mechanincs would find this disc very useful and even like it but i wont be bagging it anytime soon.
