The Westside Underworld is the ideal driver for beginners. This understable disc has a high degree of high-speed turn, followed by minimal low-speed fade. It has a moderate sized 1.9 cm rim, and a comfortable feel that will provide new disc golfers more control and distance than most other discs. For more experienced players, the Underworld is great for straight hyzer flip throws that will go the distance. The Underworld is available in both VIP and Tournament plastics.

Nice flippy disc. Beginners will get good distance and over time it'll turn into a great hyzer flip or roller for a growing player. Good feeling and durable in the tournament plastic that I have. Would recommend.

I have this disc in VIP plastic at 174 grams. This is a top disc in my bag. Very good for long flex shots. Amazing for long wide anhyzer shots around obstacles or to dive into trees to park the basket on a backhand. This disc is great for beginners.  I release this disc flat or with a slight hyzer for beautiful flip ups and a beautiful flight. When this disc is thrown right it's a very pretty shot and very enjoyable to watch.  This is a must have in the bag

To me, this is where all beginners should start for their driver needs. Beginners hear me please. You do not need the fastest disc on the market to get distance when you are just starting out. You need a nice understable 7 speed to learn how to control your shots. This thing will give you all of the distance you need and will teach you everything you need to know about controlling your arm speed and perfecting your form. For intermediate players, this thing can still handle some flex shots if you put some hyzer on it to help it out. But this thing is the ideal starter disc for beginners who love Westside's sick disc designs (which... don't we all?)

Brand new I loved this disc. It was the perfect hyzer flip machine! LONG!  It has since broken in fairly quickly and is getting flippy. Sometimes on a flip shot it will flip up to flat, and keep turning over to the right.

This disc excels at downwind drives! There may not be a longer disc out there for straight downwind shots.  Absolutely do not throw this disc into a headwind. It will turn and burn.

I'm keeping it for those rare very understable shots and rollers. But have since picked up a Hatchet (which shares the Underworld upper mold) and have found it just a bit more reliable.

I do recommend you try it, as it does some things very well. Just know that it is quite understable.

The Underworld is a great disc for all skill levels.  For a beginner, it should hold a pretty straight line with a gradual fade, if any.  For more experienced or powerful players, it will be a turnover disc.  With its high glide rating, it does get squirrely in the wind, but that should be expected. In a headwind, I wouldnt advise throwing this disc.  It is however, one of my favorite discs for throws in the woods.  And in New England (Western MA), those shots come often.  I like carrying two of these.  One thats a little less understable, that holds its turn rather than flipping over.  A hyzer flip with this one will always finish straight or show a slight fade.  A seasoned one, or a lighter one that will be a bit more US.  This one is used for big anhyzers, hyzer flips that flip to flat and pan right for a ways before finishing straight.  These shots are awesome at many courses around there.  The Underworld has been in my bag for a little over a year now, and I don't see it coming out any time in the forseeable future.

I love my TEEBIRD and I was looking for a similar disc that was a little more understable for some shot shaping and this disc does the trick for me. It has great glide and it goes extremely far considering that my arm isn't very strong or my form is not developed enough for some of the faster discs. It is also great looking!! Try one, very beginner friendly, you will be throwing better fight off the bat, or the tee rather.

This is a great disc for short controlled RHBH drives.  I have a tournament 173g and it makes a nice small s curve and finds the basket.

Tournament Underworld, 169g. This is my current goto disc.

As an improving beginner player this thing is amazing for me.
It's like a leopard but more (which is convient since I just started turning them over)
It flies consistant for me and gets good distance so long as I have a little space for it to move. Certainly not my disc of choice for tunnel shots.
Surprisingly not much trouble in most winds either.

I'm getting 250-275 ft out of it on flat ground.
I'm sure another year or two and I will be turning it over but for now it's really good.

Great disc. The perfect amount of flip whether I need it to flip to straight, get a nice s-curve, and I've even had success with a roller shot. The glide of the tournament plastic is wonderful.

My go to uphill disc. It will flip, which is perfect for those uphill throws when you can trust that it won't fade off at the end. Also a great roller for those that don't throw hard. Throw it flat and it's up and rolling. Love the tourney plastic. Great disc.

Great control driver.  Under stable flight path.  Put it on a line and watch it soar.

Spent some time field testing a 170g TP Underworld that I got from Infinite today. From an afternoon of throws, I can say this disc isn't as understable as I expected, but if you throw it on an anny line, don't expect it to come back. When thrown flat it turns and holds until the end when it fades back a bit. On a hyzer line, it makes a pretty nice hyzer flip disc too, even when brand new. I had some trouble with consistency with this disc, seeing variations in flight with back to back throws on "identical" lines. But this could be corrected with more time with the disc (or perhaps the lines weren't as identical as I thought). Overall, it didn't fly quite as expected, but it's definitely going in the bag for a while to keep testing it out. I had a couple of really impressive throws with the Underworld. The plastic and the rim feel excellent, and I definitely recommend it to a beginner to be a stellar distance driver.

I got a max weight TP Underworld and this disc was understable as one could imagine. My problem with this disc is that it wasn't a controllable sort of understable. For me this disc would turn and burn more often than not. I will say that when it didn't turn and burn it could some impressive things. I assume that a lot of my problems with this disc are my fault and not so much the discs, but regardless of the reasons this disc did not make it into my bag. I do see how it could be a fantastic beginner driver though

I've thrown a 173 Tournament Warship a fair amount the last couple weeks, and I like it, a lot. My first round I couldn't get the hang of it until about the 4th or 5th throw (I played a 1 disc round with it). Afterwards, I felt I had it dialed in for this shot: 75% power, easy distance, pretty much arrow straight. I found it very easy to control, and not the least bit flippy, not that I have much of an arm. This is the first disc i've used where the term "control driver" makes sense. This will be my go to disc this summer for tight wooded fairways that demand a little extra distance.

I was hoping to get more time reviewing my 168 Tournament Underworld, but it flipped into a lake/swamp today. The Underworld is a really consistent disc and would be great for new players. When I threw it hyzer, it would flip up and go straight in a tailwind or turn in a headwind. I also pulled off a huge backhand roller with this disc without throwing it very hard. Reminds me of an Undertow, but a little less distance. Also feels great in the hand!
