The Maiden is a straight-flying, low-profile putter that was released for the 2018 Trilogy Challenge. It quickly became a putt-and-approach favorite as players discovered how comfortable it is in the hand and how straight it flies on approaches to the basket.

This disc has at least one thing that will appeal to you.

The BT Soft plastic is not a personal favorite for throwing as it moves a bit too much on the reach back and pull through. For flight and landing though, there's great utility in it. The amount of rubber in it leads to virtually no movement after touching the ground. With it being so soft, it also corrects and sort of wobble out of the hand and helps it go maybe a little farther.

The top is very flat and comfortable for backhands, forehands were something I never needed this disc for. The outer edge rounds down like its shallow, but curves down for what seems like a bead but is more gradual and comfortable comparatively.

The flight was incredibly straight even when thrown slowly, which I found it best for. I found it to be great as an approach disc, as it was so straight, it flew fantastic for moderate approaches for bullseye hits. While it does have the slightest stability to it, it isn't entirely recommended for windy days.

I do believe there's use in this disc for every level of player.

I don't remember when I picked this disc up; I have the plain BT version.  I tend to overlook it in favor of a more stable putter or something closer to a 5 speed depending on distance.  Then, nearly every time I use it I end up within 10 feet of the basket or in the cage.  I've started to consciously use it more and have gotten solid results.  Nice, slight predictable fade at the end, sits down without much action- it just fits my throwing style.  The BT doesn't handle a lot of torque so I'm actually going to pick up an upgrade and probably carry both.  I've been surprised at how well the Maiden handles the wind despite the low stability as long as I keep it low and don't try to hyzer and have had luck even in 15-20mph conditions. As others have mentioned, I like the flat top and traditional rim feel. My son is fairly inexperienced and threw mine for a round or two- now he has one as well and does well with it.  I think the Maiden is a bit of a sleeper and has a lot of potential for beginners to intermediates as a go-to, and even as a touch disc for more veteran players.

Great feel for a thrower, both backhand and forehand.Really nicely rounded edge and smooth transition to the bead. I don't personally putt with it, but there's a good argument for doing so. I couldn't see myself recommending it as a putter for anyone that doesn't already use it.Otherwise a great thrower that goes straight, and with the bt soft plastic will hit and stay there.

Happened upon the Maiden by chance at a local store. I had been previously throwing an Envy for shots off the tee. One I picked up was in BT Soft. As soon as I picked it up, it just felt right in my hand. As a power gripper for everything except puts. I really love the feel on the thin profile and bullet-nosed rim.

I can give this disc 75-80% power and it just stays on a frozen rope before it gently fades out.  This disc has serious distance potential and to my surprise rivaled the distance I'm getting out of my midranges.

I've since bought a couple of these in VIP to have a little bit more durability off the tee. VIP ones are a touch domier because of the plastic but still share the same characteristics as the BT but with a touch more glide.

If your someone like me who is really looking to rely more heavily on driving putters and prefer a thin, flat putter (almost feels like a mini buzz) I highly recommend trying the Maidien out

Super nice putter. I have some BT soft ones. One has beaten up and is a bit too under stable for throwing. But my two white ones are still great for throwing. The black ones a bit too under stable already - use them for putting. I got a couple of VIP ones but they are under stable and not great for throwing - quite unpredictable compared to the soft ones.

nice low profile putter.    flies straight and has nice glide.  i use it for longer putts, approach shots and when it's windy.

Bought this disc for my girlfriend since she has smaller hands and liked discs that were on the easy to use side or had thin profile.

I ended up using a few times and ended up really liking it too. It has a nice feel in the hands. It can be used as a throwing putter or putting putter. I particularly like this putter inside the circle as it has a ton of glide. I tend to short arm alot of putts. The soft plastic is pretty grippy in the hands and catches the chains well.

I am not a big guy, so anyone with large hands may not like this disc, but if anyone has small hands or prefers thin profile disc, this is a nice disc to try out.

The Maiden is a fantastic disc. It is pretty shallow and stable enough to trust. I can throw it with full power on a flat/slight hyzer and know that it is going to go straight with the smallest fade at the end of the flight. It feels like a Deputy (which I love) and flies just like a stable complement to a Deputy would want to. The only reason I don't bag the Maiden (yet) is because they are not readily available in premium plastic. When premium plastic Maidens are available, my Judges will need to watch their backs! The

Perfect putter for me aside from the plastic.

I was always a fan of the low profile of the Axiom Envy and Proxy. Westisde offered that in the Harp, but not in anything less stable. Now we've got it in a very versatile, neutral mold.

I'm still using other Westside putters to get through brush, because the Maiden isn't offered in durable plastic yet. I like BT, but only in completely clean conditions. VIP and Tournament are better for not only holding their shape better, but also for not feeling terrible when dry and dirty. I'll switch plastics but probably keep the Maiden in the bag forever.
