The Maiden is a straight-flying, low-profile putter that was released for the 2018 Trilogy Challenge. It quickly became a putt-and-approach favorite as players discovered how comfortable it is in the hand and how straight it flies on approaches to the basket.

I picked up a max weight maiden during a trilogy challenge. I loved the flight of this disc for putting, and driving. It holds a really straight line, no matter what angle you put it on. Although its just a putter it can reach 250 feet in an open field with no problem, and is really stable when thrown hard. If you have a lot of power or not so much, this disc will land almost flat, and is very forgiving. My favorite thing about the maiden was how it glides a lot when putting. 50 foot putts feel more like 30 foot putts, and the maiden will hold straight almost the whole way. Only reason that I don't bag this disc is because it has a very shallow rim which makes it very hard for me to grip consistently.

This disc is a straight/understable flyer. When thrown on a hyzer it will flip up to flat and carry a long ways very straight with minimal to any gade at the tail end of its flight. This disc thrown flat or a slight hyzer will carry for a long ways and slowly finish to the right. I throw this disc backhand and forehand for any tight wooded shots under 250 feet that i need a straight true flight even on a hyzer release.

So, I've been throwing an Origio Maiden since I played a Trilogy challenge and I fell in love with it. I ordered a BT Hard Maiden to try out next to my Origio ones. And the main takeaway is that (at least the discs I have) the BT Hard run is MUCH more understable than the Origio run. I was hoping to be using the BT Hard Maidens as throwing putters, but anything more than a 50-60% throw will turn it over. I had a few cool throws on a hyzer release where it stood up and flew on a rope, but you really have to work the angle if you want to keep it from turning over which was disappointing to me after the incredibly easy to use Origio Maidens I have.

This putter has drastically improved my putting game. I have been looking for quite some time for a shallow rim putter that that is straight/understable in flight. I do not use this for a throwing putter, but have heard great things. I love the feel of this putter which is a big confidence boost in the circle. This putter surprisingly holds up in the wind for putting! It would probably not hold up to a headwind if you are using it as a throwing putter but that is not what it's aimed to do!
