The Maiden is a straight-flying, low-profile putter that was released for the 2018 Trilogy Challenge. It quickly became a putt-and-approach favorite as players discovered how comfortable it is in the hand and how straight it flies on approaches to the basket.

This review is focused on using the Maiden as a throwing putter.
First things first, this disc is super, super shallow. My hands are on the smaller size and I could not comfortably power grip it; I would turn it over every time, I can promise it was 100% because of the grip. If you have small hands or a child, I think this would work perfectly.
That said, I feel the shallowness helped improve touch shots with a soft (my 'fan' grip is more like a putting grip, so won't call it that) grip, and was great for short turnovers. All in all, a good disc, but one that I ended up replacing.
Had I not already had a putting putter I liked, I imagine this would be a good option.

This stole my judges spot. Love this disc. Honestly very comparable to judge for me just maybe a little straighter when new and a little lower profile with micro bead instead of big bead. Both are great discs and it was a hard decision honestly but for now it's my new go to putter for putting and throwing.

I got my 2nd ever ace with this run Maiden. I can say for a throwing putter, you cannot beat the consistent straight flight with a baby fade at the end. You will not find medium to long range putter that flies so consistently! Highly recommend for all skill levels!

Got this disc as I wanted something shallow and not beaded that I could release smoothly and fly directly at the basket.  I was not at all disappointed.  I play a lot of wooded courses and I find that I can confidently shoot narrow gaps and trust this disc to stay dead straight to the basket.  Instantly made the bag after the first few throws and has not disappointed through the first few rounds.  Has actually yet to hit a tree! [immediately jumps up to find some wood to knock on]

This disc should really get more love than it does. I was looking for a low profile putter that you can both throw and putt with, and the Maiden is the perfect disc for that. It flies dead straight on approaches and sticks right where it lands. Being pretty flat, it's also a great disc for approach forehands you need to stick to any angle you throw it on.

After a couple years with the XT Aviar, I wanted to try a new putter. I went to a local store and handled just about every single putter they had that I though I might be interested in. I didn't know if I wanted beaded or beadless. I quickly determined that the bead is more comfortable in my hands. So, I started handling different beaded putters. My fingers, though fairly wide, are very short, so I was looking for something rather shallow. I handled the Judge, and at first I liked it, but that would soon change when I handled the Link. It was much shallower and felt a lot more comfortable in my hands. I tried the Mercy, but it wasn't for me. Eventually, I found the Maiden. It was deeper than the Link, but not as deep as the Judge, and definitely not as deep as the Aviar I had been using. I decided that the Link was a bit too shallow for me, but the Maiden was just right. I went with the BT Hard. It is similat to XT with just a touch more grip, in my opinion. I went home, broke out my Recruit basket, and started trying my two new Maidens out. I...was...not disappointed. My accuracy doubled because the disc fit my hand so much better. It's amazing how big of a difference that will make. As for approaches, if I'm within 150' and don't have a lot of room on the right, I'll snap this disc a little harder than normal, but I'll put some extra air under it. That height helps it not to overshoot the basket and the speed keeps it from fading to hard. I spin putt, and this disc works beautifully for me. I now have a putting game. Mine seems to fade just a little harder than a 1, but maybe that's just me.

I got myself a BT hard Maiden from Ebay because it sparked my interest. And oh boy I fell in love with this disc the very moment I touched it. This disc was a little beat in already and it flies dead straight with slight fade at the end. It has such little ground play that if I land it right where I want to I know it will be within a 5 foot radius of that, even when I bomb this disc max power. I really love how I am able to throw this disc on pretty much whatever line I wish. If you throw it flat with a good amount of power you will get a straight flight with the smallest amount of turn to the right. If you put it on a hyzer you can get it to flip up a little but it will always hold that hyzer angle you put it on while it fades out, does not dump out like more overstable discs. If you put this on a turnover it will hold that slow turn angle rather than just dumping right and risking a throwler situation. It slowly fights out of the angle but never gets so stable that it will hyzer out, it just will get to flat and land flat. I think this disc was how I had hoped a beat in harp or zone would fly like. It has a hint less stability than I wanted out of the other two being beat in but that really made all the difference and this disc fits my exact needs.

Now I wanna talk about how comfortable this disc feels in the hand. It is very shallow which I realized I love for throwing putters. It gives me the confidence that this disc will stay in my hand and will fly out exactly how I want it to. There is a bead that some people may dislike but it is not super big and I think it helps the feeling. The bead fits perfectly in the crease of my index finger and palm and it just adds to the trusting feeling I get holding this disc. I think if you are someone that likes shallower discs you need to give the Maiden a shot. I do not putt with it because I love my Roachs but I could see a lot of people loving this disc as a putting putter.
