The Gatekeeper will go right where you throw it. Throw with power, and it does have a tendency to fade. The gatekeeper was designed to help you stay in the fairway.

I love the Gatekeeper and have it in my bag in two plastics, VIP and Tournament. The tournament plastic ones in my experience are a little bit flatter, but the VIP ones aren't domey by any means. They have a cofmortable grip in the hand, not too deep, not too shallow, though I have slightly larger than average hands. They have a nice beadless feel that is smooth coming out of the hand.

On anhyzer, they both will hold over for almost the whole flight. If given enough height, the VIP will fade out barely at the end. The Tournament Gatekeeper will hold anhyzer all the way to the ground and land flat.

Thrown flat, they both push straight for awhile before having a soft, gentle pushing fade, rather than a dump. Flat shots are where this disc really shines.

Thrown on hyzer, they will hold the hyzer angle while pushing straight and not dump. They hold the pushing hyzer angle almost to the ground. Players with bigger arms will see a little flip up on hyzer, but won't get it to turn over.

This is a great versatile disc that most players already have in their bag because everyone pushes Rocs or Buzzzs but this disc is in the same slot, just a versatile mid that you can throw on any angle and see consistent results. This is a super underrated disc, even in the trilogy lineup with discs like the Compass, Trust, EMAC Truth, and Warship getting more hype. However, this disc definitlely belongs in the conversation for best Trilogy midrange and more people should give it a try.

The Gatekeeper is a very straight flyer! After throwing the disc for a few rounds, the disc likes to slightly flip up and drift a little bit to the right on a RHBH. Very reliable either way!

If your looking for a disc that you just want to fly straight, then this is your disc! Its a very neutral disc which is great for learning how to hyzier or anhyzier.  It has always stayed consistent even after making a couple love taps to my favorite local trees.

I had a hard time liking this disc at first. It wasn't as fast or glidy as something like my DD emac truth, or as overstable as my Westside Harp or Lat64 Anchor. I felt like it had characteristics of each but not enough to replace one in my bag. I pulled it back out of my box of extras when I started really practicing my mid range shots to improve distance and accuracy. With good form this disc is really capable. It has a good amount of glide, it is pretty overstable so it can handle power and with a good amount of power is pretty easy to flex and shot shape with. It recently replaced an emac truth in my bag (that emac is in fusion and is one of my oldest discs and is extremely beat in and is now a backup to my optoX Fuse) Not sure if I'd recommend it as a beginner's first mid range disc, I've recommended Emac Truths for that, but for a more overstable mid range this is a great choice to learn and grow with or for advanced players to use for more technical shots.

Solid disc, bought it from a friend who had no use for it in his bag, I hit my first ace with it so have no issues with this disc.

I was given one of these and it replaced an elite x Buzz right away for shots of 100 to 200 feet.  It is described as overstable, but my tournament Gatekeeper flies slightly understable to stable now that it is broken in.  Beginners can throw this disc with a little practice, and experienced players will appreciate the way it responds to different releases.

I got this disc to find something that I could force to the right from the standing position. The disc has worked out great for that as well as getting a nice S shape when thrown with power on a hyzer.  It has enough turn to fight back and give a nice turn at the end of the flight.  This is great for good controlled shots.

I grabbed one of these at 179 for the Trillogy Challenge and have to say that I was quickly impressed. When thrown with power it turns very little and fades some but not hard, it also has an amazing hand feel. Higher wing and flattish top on all of the ones that I saw and no bead so it comes out really smoothly.

Reminds me a lot fo the Yikun Yao, but with a flatter top and the slightly larger diameter makes it have a bit more glide. Overall I've not had a disc made my Bards at all nervouse other the the MVP Matrix(this flies a lot like a slower Matrix) but this one might be worth a longer look at the bag.

You can hyzer it and it will fade, but not hard, it can turn over if you force it and on just really nice fast shots it holds its line so well.
