The Westside Discs Destiny is an understable super-high-speed driver. Two things are undeniable about this disc - speed and glide. This beauty really gets out there. For the higher arm speeds, a powered down throw will still get out to great distances. For the lower arm speeds, this will be your long-range bomber. Everyone can find a way to throw the Destiny. You will just have to walk a long way to go pick it up.

I was looking for a Trilogy mold that would compare if not replace my Innova Shryke. I LOVE my Shryke, but I prefer to throw Trilogy plastic. Based on some reviews I read as well as the flight numbers, I was hoping the Destiny would be the solution. Unfortunately, it missed the mark, but not by much. Let me explain.

First of all, one of the things I love about my Star Shryke is the feel. It's got a flatter profile which I really like. I am not a fan of discs with more dome to them. The Destiny had more dome, so that was immediately a mark against it. Secondly, my Shryke just glides forever when I throw it just right. The Destiny is a good distance driver, but it just doesn't seem to go the extra distance like my Shryke does. Finally, I don't know if it's me or the disc, but it seems to be a little less forgiving. I have to throw it perfectly to get the distance out of it I want, and I feel like my Shryke will give me good distance even when I am slightly nose up or accidentally give it too much hyzer.

If I had never experienced the Shryke first, this might be in the running to be my main distance driver (although I'd probably still go with the Trespass or the Ballista over this one). So, for now, the search continues to find that Shryke replacement. Until then, I'll keep throwing it! :)

I bag 4 Destiny's... 1 Tournament Burst, 2 Tournament, and 1 Moonshine. The main reason I throw the Burst plastic is for its insane skipping ability. This plastic doesn't turn as much as the regular Tournament plastic. It is the most stable Destiny plastic in my opinion. I am hoping it becomes a little more stable as it beats in. But right now I throw it almost exactly 350ft... little farther in a headwind due to a slightly longer stable flight but still not a lot of turn. But at the end... I almost always get huge skips. Which can come in very handy.  Also, the Tournament Burst plastic looks so awesome when it skips up in that slower spinning arch.
