The Westside Discs Bear is here to control the fairways. The Bear features a neutral to slightly understable flight for the more advanced player. Newer players will find it to be a reliable fairway driver with a little turn and a reliable fade. It's considered to be the bigger brother of the Westside Discs Stag. The Bear is strong enough to handle any arm speed.

I'm a huge fan of the Bear. This disc feels like the sweetspot between an Innova Eagle and Thunderbird, when I throw it with a slight hyzer backhand it will sit up to flat then ride straight before dumping hard to the left. It's got enough stability to stand up to a forehand like my Eagles and Thunderbirds, too. I can really hammer down on it and it will consistently come back at the end.

I like the Bear from West Side a lot. It is actually more stable than I anticipated which I enjoyed. For beginners I think it would be a good overstable fairway that is not quite as stable as a firebird or a scepter. For advanced throwers it was straight for a good amount of its flight but so far it has always finished with a nice fade for me. I have not thrown it in a headwind yet, I don't anticipate it would be stable enough to be classified as a "headwind" fighter but it is still pretty reliable in my time throwing it. The VIP Ice plastic feels great and I enjoy how this disc feels in the hand both backhand and forehand.

The Bear is a great disc. I've bagged a prototype for 6 months or so and just added two of the first run vip ice to my bag. The prototype has a good bit of dome to it while the vip ice's are much flatter. My blue one has a slight dome to it while my orange one is board flat. From what I've seen the red and orange from this run are flat. They fit in my hand quite similar to my stags. When thrown flat and hard they go very straight with maybe a bit of drift before having a gentle fade. I push these out 325-350( my max is around 380 with a distance driver). It's similar to a Teebird3 from what I remember. I'm excited to try this in different plastics when they become available. With time and wear I could see beating these in to have most of my fairway needs covered.
