The Westside Discs Bear is here to control the fairways. The Bear features a neutral to slightly understable flight for the more advanced player. Newer players will find it to be a reliable fairway driver with a little turn and a reliable fade. It's considered to be the bigger brother of the Westside Discs Stag. The Bear is strong enough to handle any arm speed.

Great for shots that you need to go straight and finish with stability. The flight numbers are pretty accurate. It has held up its durability without much change in a year of throwing it.

I love this disc for slightly overstable shots both forehand and backhand. Does great on flex shots with healthy fade at the end. Has some serious glide and carry to it. Stronger arms will probably get some mid flight turn but more average arm speed will see this disc slowly pop up straight and finish strong.

Feel: Super comfortable in the hand. Plastic feels like a grippier, firmer champion from Innova. Moderate dome.

Flight: *DISClaimer*: mine is not how other people describe it. My bear is not as stable as the numbers indicate. It is my favorite disc for a flat release that flips and glides on anhyzer, gently landing flat again. For having lower stability, it handles torque very well, so forehand away.

Thoughts: My favorite disc right now. You couldn't go wrong by getting one. No matter whether it is stable or not, the feel and clean flight is well worth it. 0.5 stars docked for either inconsistent manufacturing or incorrect flight numbers.

A great disc that I primarily use for forhand drives that I want a little extra distance out of compared to my Teebird3. This can also do well for a straight backhand drive and will hold the line even in a bit of a headwind. The finish is strong enough to help it get around trees at the end and I use this disc a ton in the woods.

I've only played one round with this disc, but so far it's flying beautifully for me! I was hoping for a Teebird type flight with a little less overstability and that's exactly what it is. The Bear excels when released with a little bit of hyzer. The 6 glide is obvious to me as this thing likes to flip up and ride. The shallow dome of the disc fits really good in the hand as well. It'll hold a steep hyzer when it needs to, and on a flat release the Bear will drift for about half of its flight until it slowly starts to come out of it and end with a reliable forward finish. For reference, I was throwing the Bear for shots 340-370'. Overall, an excellent, go-to fairway driver!
