The Westside Bard complements the Westside Lineup as an overstable midrange disc. This midrange is by far the most overstable in the Westside line, and possibly the most overstable mid in the entire Trilogy family. The Bard will provide the consistency, in all wind conditions, that Westside fans are looking for.

I tried a lot of overstable mids to try and fill that slot in my bag. After trying many molds the bard ended up being my favorite. Between the feel in the flight it is the OS mid that I recommend to people. The disc itself is not as deep as a lot of the other mids I tried in this slot so I like the way it feels better in my hand which leads me to throw it more consistantly

Great go to mid range. Very similar to a wasp. You can throw it hard and flat expect it to hold a straight line with a very reliable finish. Have it in the tournament and vip plastic with the ladder being a more over stable version.

I love the bard and it has become my main midrange and approach disc. Its similar to a Roc3 in that it will fly straight out of the hand and will stay there until just before the end of the flight before fading. Maybe I throw it differently than others, but I wouldn't rate this as a 3 fade. I agree with the 0 turn, but would have it as a 1.5 or 2 fade. When I compare it to my BUZZZ which is - 1/1, it definitely doesn't turn like the BUZZZ does but it also doesn't fade much more than it either. All of that to say, this is a fairly straight flying mid-range to me but will give you a bit of fade at the end which I really like for approach shots. Obviously the BUZZZ will give me a bit straighter of a shot. Overall a great disc and I'd highly recommend.

This should not be your first midrange disc. This should be your second. Once beginner arms have gotten down some sort of semblance of form, you will need to experience the world of true control from your discs. There is no midrange from Westside more controllable. This thing will always turn left. You can get a strong 250-300 if you absolutely lean into one on this thing, and it will flip up for a second and a half, and finish left. Every time. Extremely dependable workhorse driver from a great company. If you throw trilogy, there is no way this is left out of your bag.

Just looking at the disc it has a flat top, and the rim looks similar to a buzz, but does not throw at all like a buzz. I feel like thinking of what I wanted from a Buzz OS, the Bard is what I was looking for. Out of the hand it flies very straight and can take as much power as you want to give it without flipping over on a flat release.

I throw right hand forehand and use this disc on a lot of approach shots for easy predictable placement. On drives that hook to the right, between 100-250 I will use the Bard off the tee and always trust it will fly out straight and end on the right.

Over all great disc, I have had my Tournament Bard in my bag for going on 3 years and it still fly's out just like it was new!

178g tournament bard. I haven't had this disc long but I would compare it to a verdict. Dependable but not super overstable. It's not bad at fighting wind either.

Great disc! New the stability is as advertised maybe -0.2 .  Handles some power and flies nice and straight ending with a healthy fade. Tournament plastic and VIP are great, mold is nice for pretty much all hand sizes. I used to even use this on a lot of trick approach shots as well 150 ft and in.  Disc lands pretty trusty.  Beaten in the disc will hold straight for pretty much the entire flight on a full mid range power throw.  Less fade but still has the stability to hold a line really well.  I don't bag the bard anymore as i started liking my legacy Ghost to much as its more universal for me .  I can do different shots with the bard as they aren't the same type disc but i needed room for more drivers.

The Bard is the answer to what I was searching for, for a long time. I went through multiple mids to end up on the Bard. There are a lot of people out there who throw every version of the Roc available, and the Bard to me is a better Roc3. (GASP I know it sounds like blasphemy). It holds up well in the wind, and is very reliable. It's a disc that flies straight for a long time, then has a good fade at the end and can have a decent skip if there's a basket tucked into a corner this will get there. It's a great hyzer disc, and if you want to force a flex line it will perform well. I can put a lot of steam on this, and it never turns and burns unless there's a headwind so fierce you might as well not be playing. Typical range I use this for is 240-300ft.

Profile: Like most stable mids this has a deep depth.

Flight:Great disc. Very predictable.  It's going to go straight and fade at the end, every time.

Comparison: More stable Roc, Prodigy M1

Final thoughts: I found I don't bag it though, I'm more likely to throw my Harp or step up to a Spark or Felon.

Bard, TP, 178g. This disc is one of my favorites. It is stable until very near the end of its flight, and then it hooks nicely and skips well upon landing. A wonderful disc for those baskets that are tucked back underneath the trees. Occasionally, I will throw an anhyzer flex shot with this disc, and it performs very reliably in that role as well. I only use my mids on shots that are less than 240', and I am a rhbh player of average power.
