The Westside Bard complements the Westside Lineup as an overstable midrange disc. This midrange is by far the most overstable in the Westside line, and possibly the most overstable mid in the entire Trilogy family. The Bard will provide the consistency, in all wind conditions, that Westside fans are looking for.

I have picked up a few Bards in the Finnish BT plastic, which is amazing. Has a nice grip to it, almost a "grainy" kind of feel for lack of a better term. It's not slippery, it's not tacky. The disc is not overly large diameter as some mids can be, but it's a fairly deep dish with a solid sized bead. I guess a Roc3 from Innova would be the closest "popular" comparison. If you rip into the Bard, it'll fly straight for a long way before a healthy fade at the end, no turn at all from mine. Into a headwind, you'll get little to no turn with a fairly flat finish. It's not the most overstable mid you can buy, but it's a great workhorse. For average to strong throwers it will have that nice sneaky long flight with healthy bite at the end. For lower power throwers this could be a great hyzer/utility disc. I'll be cycling the BT Bards as long as I can get them!
