The Ursus is an overstable mid/approach disc that is made to fly straight and have a consistent overstable finish at the end of its flight. This disc has a thin profile and bead that will be comfortable for forehands and backhands. The Ursus is made to simplify that treacherous 150 to 300 foot approach. It’s torque resistant enough to not flip while not being ridiculously overstable at the same time.

This is it! The forehand midrange that really meets expectations.

The Ursus has a shallow depth and a small bead yet flat on the inside of the rim to allow for smooth forehand releases. The Calcite Glow plastic version is flat, slightly tacky and slightly gummy while giving confidence in grip.

Flights for me differ on the type of throw:

Forehand - This is where this disc shines the most for me. Stable enough to get some distance and reliably finish right (RHFH). Anhyzers can pan a little bit, so be sure to give it height and room. Works well for chipping approach shots too.

Backhand - Not my farthest midrange, but that's perfectly fine. I can flex it and know it will still fade back or fight a headwind.

I have great confidence in using this disc and enjoy using it in my rounds. I can't wait to try the Glass and Granite plastics to see how they compare!
