A great first driver for newer players as it's fairly easy to throw and has great glide. For more advanced players it'll be a great choice for a controllable fairway for rollers, turnovers and long hyzerflips. also nearly flies as far as distance drivers but with more control.

The RPM Pekapeka is a really good disc that is easy to throw, goes far and feels nice to hold. Its design is comfortable and makes it a great choice for players of any skill level. It's easy to throw far, even in the wind, and you can use it for many different types of shots. If you like playing disc golf, the Pekapeka is definitely a disc you should consider getting.

First review. Don't normally share this way but this is a unique weirdo disc that has stolen my heart.

My normal game drivers are a Shryke and Orion LF. So I compare this one to them for a 265 drive.

I got one of these in cosmic 174g from a friend. I love my Piwakawakas and my rurus but I really wanted an RPM driver that I liked to complete my RPM set. At first I wasn't impressed because I couldn't get much distance with it RHBH and it was neither super straight or a deep glide fade, but after reading all the reviews I was determined to make friends with this one so I ordered one in a lighter weight, 171g Atomic. At first I was a little disappointed when I threw it RHFH. It had distance but it would drift way off to the left and even dump left. Sometimes just fall into a boomerang roller. It became the last disc in my practice rotation. After a few tries I figured out it needed a huge 3 hyser and it took off, flipped up, drifted just slightly to the left and straightened out like a missle beyond the 250 marker with a slight fade as it dumped dead on. It's been about two months now and this has become my favorite most reliable understable distance driver. Now first in rotation and a joy to throw and exactly what I wanted in my RPM collection. Once I wrapped my head around the idea I had to throw it completely different from my other understables, stables, or overstables because of the way it reacts to torque, it all came together and rivals my longest driver. I have a few now and I found out that the heavier weights are flatter, glide 4, and don't react the same way. More stable. The lighter weights are a little domeyer in atomic and really reactive and more glide and I can shape the shots more RHBH and really get more distance on a power RHFH with a really nasty almost vertical launch. I love this disc so much in the 170-171 weight it makes me rethink my opinion of the other RPM drivers and maybe try them in lighter weights also. Boils down to weight and hyser with this weirdo. Lovin it.

I'm a fan of the Innova Sidewinder, so I had to give this guy a whirl. I was immediately surprised by how understable it was in comparison. Between the two, this seems to be one I'll rely on less, so my rating would probably be closer to 4.5/5, but the plastic is great, and I love the logo.

Yet another fantastic RPM disc. This is one of the only understable fairway drivers that has been true to its flight numbers out of the box. It definitely holds true to the -3 turn, but probably has 6 glide rather than 5. It is great for turnovers and hyzerflips without having to put full power into the disc. Overall, great fairway driver that is understable even when brand new and it has a fun name to tell your card mates when they ask what disc you just threw.

I don't say this often so please believe me when I say this... this is one of the best discs I have ever thrown! I have played disc golf for almost 12 years and I also work in a disc golf shop so I have thrown a TON of different discs out on the market. From the widely known "top brands" in disc golf to quite a few of the lesser known brands as well and this disc is up there as one of the best discs on the market in my opinion. The Pekapeka is the newest addition to the RPM Discs lineup, just released in 2021 and this disc has already became an absolute staple in my bag. The 9, 5, -3, 1 flight numbers are pretty close in my opinion however, I would change the glide to a 6 and the turn to a -2 for my arm. As one of the most glidey discs I have ever thrown, I can get the Pekapeka out to almost the same distances I can get ANY distance driver to! I know some of you may think "this is because of your low arm speed" and yes, that is a factor, but I have heard several Pro players say the same exact thing about the Pekapeka. This disc just absolutely wants to fly! It is absolutely perfect for that hyzerflip to flat with a touch of turn making any small gap seem 50 feet wider. It is also great for a flat release with a good amount of turn before it gets that fade at the tail end (pun intended) of the flight. This beauty is even useful for huge sky anny shots that will just turn turn turn! I am currently bagging 1 Atomic and 1 Cosmic Pekapeka. In my experience, the Cosmic tends to be less understable than the Atomic. Both are absolute workhorses in my bag. I am now stepping up to holes that I used to try and bomb with a driver to get max distance and grabbing the 9 speed Pekapeka and getting almost the same amount of distance with a ton more control. If I haven't sold you on the Pekapeka already, then you must just love bogeys. After learning the Pekapeka, this mold will be in my bag for the rest of my disc golfing days! Throwing Atomic plastic at 4,400 ft in Utah. To me, 5 stars = incredible disc 4 stars = good & dependable disc. I don't give out too many 5 star ratings.

The Pekapeka feels pretty comfortable in the hand. It is pretty typical feeling for a 9 speed. Atomic plastic has a really nice feel in the hand, it provides some good grip to it as well as some excellent durability. It doesn't have anything along the rim that causes discomfort, its a pretty typical rim.

Basically, this is a good flying disc. It is pretty understable, so this makes for a great hyzer-flip disc and roller disc. There were a few times that I accidentally threw a roller. Meaning, I wanted a big turnover shot but It turned over too much and went into a really good roller. The controllability of this disc is a little touchy. Meaning this wants to be flippy, so it will easily turnover too much if not careful.

Overall, the Pekapeka is a great disc, that makes for an excellent roller and hyzer-flip disc.
