X Com Ultimate Frisbees are really nice. Unlike the Innova Pulsar, they are pretty much identical in shape and feel with the Discraft Ultra-Star, perhaps slightly softer and more flexible in feel, but it's really hard to tell. My two oldest boys are very serious Ultimate players, and if you're in the "serious" Ultimate group, then the Ultra-Star is the only disc to use. They recently had a 3v3 tournament and during one of the games started using my Bomber stamped XCom frisbee. Nobody noticed that it was not an  Ultra-Star. 

I also have one of the Glow Ultimate discs which is really fun for playing catch after dark, especially if you bring a UV light. That disc seems like it has a little bit of an end of fade to it at the end of the flight more like a Pulsar or disc golf disc. I haven't noticed the same thing with my white Xcom Ultimate disc, just the glow edition. Must just be the plastic.

All in all, if you're just looking for a good Ultimate Frisbee at a low price, the XCom disc is as good as anything else, and at a lower price.
