The Pulsar is a comfortable disc which is the Official Disc of the MLS. We don’t suggest taking this disc out and playing disc golf with it… there are better discs for that. But for catch and throw, the Pulsar is right at the top of the list of best discs.

I love the Pulsar.
This Ultimate Frisbee has more stability and handles wind and power better than the Discraft UltraStar. Unfortunately, most leagues and such only use Ultra-Stars, and that is what competitive players are used to. The Pulsar is different enough that it does take some getting used to.
I have nothing bad to say about this disc. Easy to throw (backhand or flick), mad distance and serious amounts of control It is overstable, but that's kind of the point here. Can't go wrong with this one for a backyard session or a full on match. Only a 4 star because the stamp just seems somewhat outdated.
It's no Ultrastar...
The Pulsar is the official disc of Major League Ultimate (MLU) so it is by no means a bad flying disc. It is, however, more overstable and less glidey than the Discraft Ultrastar, which really set the high water mark for Ultimate discs. This makes the Pulsar harder to shape shots with, and essentially makes it useless for disc golf, though it is PDGA approved.
Its an okay disc to mess around with, but an Ultrastar is far superior for all your flying disc needs.
