The ProBasket Trainer is a quality, solid basket for practicing at home. This basket is easily assembled, and has the look and feel of a real course basket. It can be used for temporary courses, and is PDGA approved for events up to B-tiers.

Great, sturdy basket. In many ways it is very similar to the DD Recruit. Heavy chains, and very solid basket and band. It is actually a lot like the baskets you'll putt on at the course - with one exception. You do not want to leave this out in the elements (which is clearly stated in all of the material that comes with the basket).
I leave all of my baskets outside - including this one. My Recruit has been left outdoors for 3 years or so and has fairly minimal rust, but this basket developed a lot of rust very quickly when left outside. I don't care too greatly because it still works as it should for my little course at my home. But it seems like, for the price, I would go with the Recruit for a very similar basket with a better durability in the elements should you leave it out occasionally. If you know for certain it will never be left outside overnight you can take your pick between this and a recruit.
